Re: Birmingham and Burton KO moved
Wrexham game (15/3) not on Sky and therefore remains at 1500 KO at AP, which suits me fine as gives me plenty of time to get there.

Re: The definitive ex-player news thread
Fans don't sack managers though and owners don't always step up to take the blame. I think if he loses another 3 or 4 they'll probably make a change to stop the noise and let them get in a haggered /experienced / old Allardyce type who knows all about how to take them down.
Re: FT article on League One transfer fees
I am always puzzled by how new managers are expected to automatically bring about a large improvement in teams that have been failing without new players being brought in. They don't have a magic wand so while it may work sometimes that can't be assumed.

Re: Loan watch
Agree re Bakinson, not Leahy.
No, he won’t. Feels like a relief, interestingly.

Re: FT article on League One transfer fees
Gaz kept us up and then took us up 2 divisions. He couldn't do it with Shrewsbury, could he?!
Re: FT article on League One transfer fees
' I think he let his emotion cloud his judgment in wanting to go there . Should have bitten his lip until the summer . Worst case he would have got us to the play offs and had that on his CV rather than a potential relegation.'
A warning from history:
In the past this may have led to another long thread diversion about did he go was he pushed was it his choice why did he go there Dan Rice this Bloomfield that...I would like at this relatively early stage to hope we've all moved on. ☺️
Re: FT article on League One transfer fees
They didn’t do their research. They needed someone to hit the ground running, not someone who needs 9 months to slowly turn the ocean-going vessel around.

Re: FT article on League One transfer fees
Ultimately they chose the wrong guy in my opinion . They needed a David Moyes type to get them out of trouble . Bloomfiled was never going to be that and will need a couple of seasons to turn it around . I think he let his emotion cloud his judgment in wanting to go there . Should have bitten his lip until the summer . Worst case he would have got us to the play offs and had that on his CV rather than a potential relegation.

Re: FT article on League One transfer fees
Intrestingly it appears a growing number of Luton fans think Bloomfield is "out of his depth" and there is mounting criticism and questioning of his abilities . It appears the flack he got here during the 17 game winless run was not a sign of Wycombe fans being uniquly fickle as some have claimed . Give it two more losses and they will be positively baying for his blood .
