Re: Squad strength - January 2025 transfer window
I would stick with 4-2-3-1 and our new signings need to prove themselves.
Rav
Grimmer/Kodua, Low, Sonny, Harvie
Scowen, Leahy
Fred, Humphries, Lubala
Kone
Subs - Bishop, Hagelskjaer, Berry, McCleary, Bakinson, Westergaard, Udoh
Skura and Butcher to drop out from Mansfield
Lowry having not played a game for over a year and only just signed would not make the bench.

I would go:-
Rav
Grimmer/ Kodua, Low, Sonny, Harvie.
Scowen, Westergaard
Fred, Humphreys, Berry.
Kone.
Subs:- Leahy, Bishop, Hagelskjaer, McCleary, Udoh, Lubala, Butcher.
Re: Other Football
McClean had a car crash, which is not good timing at all. But hopefully out unscathed though not sure if it's to the level of still being able to play.
We like the banter and rivalry, but that's proper real life stuff.
Re: Reading offer Bearwood training ground to Wycombe
You are a true supporter @theRoyalBiscuit - I hope it all turns out well for you. 👍👍
Re: New Manager Rumour Mill
I translated the last sentence in the COTN tweet as: "they will work like dogs but expect to be paid well every week..."
Re: Reading offer Bearwood training ground to Wycombe
There are still quite a few us around @StongestTeam. Having been a fan of Reading FC for so long it is harder to walk away than stay, surprisingly enough. Even if a phoenix club rises from the ashes of this club, some of us will stick around. Yes, even if we have to groundshare with that lot along the M4 from us or along the A40 from you, when we get back to the "Big Time" i.e. League 2! (That is if we do manage several promotions).
As for the latest news, any idea what Dai is counter-claiming against RC for as no one I know has any idea. The only thing I can spectulate is that RC caused a sale to full though by holding on to the Leins. Whether he did or not cause a sale to fall through I do not know so it is pure speculation on my part as the latest "buyer" seems to have disappeared into the same hole as previous possible buyers.
Re: Aaron Morley
I’d already booked my train ticket for the Mar 1st game against Brum but would be happy to sacrifice that for a longer FA cup run.
Re: New Manager Rumour Mill
They look quite a duo - the assistant manager seems to be on the radar of a few clubs
Re: James Berry signs
In fairness, rejecting huge bids has never been in our culture!
But we all welcome it becoming so!
