Another game I’m really looking forward to. Funny what a competent manager does to you!

I think we’ll go with Norris in goal, and I doubt that Harvie and Leahy will start, having played most of the 90 minutes on Saturday.

I’d go strong, great chance of getting into the last 16, build momentum with a win and keep the feel good factor going.

Taking the 3 kids later, hopefully a good family night out!

To be fair I dont think we have a LB Besides Taylor Allen and Harvie

unless im missing someone or Duff goes with Midfielders instead of Defenders on the Wing back roles

I’m expecting a sub 3000 crowd, a famous victory and a memorable night for the 150 hardy Chairboys that find themselves there.

COME WYCOMBE!

Imagine Casey will play ahead of Skura, though maybe Skura in for Allen.
Can see Tilley playing as one of the wingbacks and potentially Junior too as a wingback (think he played there for Crawley?). Lowry could come back in unless he’s injured

An interesting interview with Martin O’Neill in today’s Guardian:

Imagine it’ll be something like this:

(3-5-2)
Norris; Skura, Casey, Hagelskjaer; Back, Boyd-Munce, Abbott, Henderson, Tilley; McNeilly, Fink.

I have a feeling that Norris will do well in Duff’s style

I thought Huggins could play on both sides?

oh good point

Is it only Woodrow & Bell that are cup-tied for today’s game? All the other loaned players are available?

wait Niall Might be cup tied anyways

I have a feeling Norris won’t get much of a chance bar cup matches.

Dear Mike,

Play Lowry.

Cheers, ta

Depending on what fitness markers players are getting re: potential risk of injury, I have a suspicion Michael Duff might only make the three changes that are necessary.

3-5-2
van-Sas
Grimmer - Taylor - Allen
Fred - Henderson - Abbott - Leahy - Harvie
Fink - McNeilly

Abbott for Mullins (injury)
Fink for Woodrow (cup-tied)
McNeilly for Bell (cup-tied)

I don’t think Duff needs to see Norris play.

Consistent performances come from consistent team selection. He can assess the other players in training and the pointless cup competition.

I would think the bench from Saturday will start. Does he have to play any of the starters due to the rules?

Weird old season we’re having. It’s been mostly miserable so far, and yet here we are one winnable game away from the last 16 of the League Cup.
