Can I recommend that as many Gasroomers as possible give a look / listen to hear Phil C's chat with Phil Maunder-Walker. His story / outlook is remarkable and I for one will be looking out for his book, once it is available
Cheers Phil I hadn't realised that may have been the case.
Always look out for the pod especially to catch the game highlights especially as the EFL's TV broadcast partner down here Bein Sports hardly ever shows League One games.
I remember popping across the road from school to Handy Cross to watch some of the filming of superstars. Footballers sustaining injuries whilst competing - those were the days
It's slightly before my time but I've seen all the legendary clips (Keegan falling off his bike etc) and loved the theme tune from when I picked it up on a weird and wonderful compilation CD about 30 years ago.

Chairboys fan from the Land Down Under here. Love the pod although I miss hearing the Dusty Springfield song at the start.
That made me fall in love with the pod in the first place.
G'day @AussieChairboy84! Thanks for the pod love and for tuning in.
The algorithms are now advanced enough to pick up copyrighted material so Dusty had to go I'm afraid.
Cheers Phil I hadn't realised that may have been the case.

Not sure I want to listen to Wrexham action but the Brian Jack's picture takes me back to simpler telly times.
I remember popping across the road from school to Handy Cross to watch some of the filming of superstars. Footballers sustaining injuries whilst competing - those were the days
Time to suck on an orange and do some slide squat thrusts (maybe) as a tribute to the great Brian Jacks.
Brian is still with us! Living round the corner from this week's TDUDP guest who is the chap counting the dips! Small world.
I had no idea that Superstars was filmed at Handy Cross.
I think the filming of superstars moved around the country - seem to remember it was a big thing that it was being filmed in Wycombe
It's slightly before my time but I've seen all the legendary clips (Keegan falling off his bike etc) and loved the theme tune from when I picked it up on a weird and wonderful compilation CD about 30 years ago.
I seem to remember someone falling off the bike at Handy Cross. Can’t remember if it was Keegan or someone else
They did the canoe race down the Rye and someone, can't recall who, went over.....rather them than me.
