Supposedly wrexham have easy run in, as we have found to our cost those are the teams you can struggle against . Just looked playing a few teams fighting and charlton the last game of the season won’t be easy.
Decent-ish performance tonight. Kone and Udoh make such a difference when they play together although Udoh should have had a hat-trick and we let a really poor Burton off the hook. At least we had a bit of a swagger back.
First time I’ve heard the Alex Lowry chant. Hang your heads in shame if you sing it.
Best performance since October I thought. Great shape. Fantastic positional rotation. Everyone performed well.
We appeared to have done some work on positional shape on the ball and brought both full backs into unusual positions. Reach very high at times likes a winger, with Leahy tucked in at LB and Udoh allowed to play next to Kone. Very effective, with their RB unsure who to mark. Likewise, Grimmer picked up some nice positions, including the one from which he hit the post.
Surprised the Burton keeper didn't go down after 10-15 mins to allow them to reset their marking. They seemed to sort themselves out a bit by around the 35 mins mark, forcing Norris into a few longer kicks.
Burton didn't offer much and seemed to allow us an age on the ball. At times we literally had the man on the ball marshalling 2 or 3 teammates into position to allow us to build a move from the back. I can't see many teams giving us that much time on the ball in the remaining games.
I'm getting more and more resigned to us getting pipped by Wrexham. Not because of anything we've done. More because they've received an inordinate amount of luck this season
If you actually watch them (as I have four times over the last few weeks), you realise that they're not even very good. There's very little skill or technical ability in that team. I think they're about 15 points better off than they should be, but almost every little thing has gone in their favour over the course of the season. Howler refereeing decisions in their favour every other game, a slew of completely undeserved wins, a never-ending stream of last minute winners
It's astounding, and I think their promotion is written in the stars / by Hollywood I'm afraid
Utterly irrelevant references to Bloomfield, suggesting a man who gave over 20 years of his life to our club doesn’t care about Wycombe and we don’t care about him and all we care about being Alex Lowry. A new low.

Our run in does look pretty scary. But we have proven over 30+ games that we can mix it with anyone.
There are no easy games when you get to the business end of the season.
We've gone from "I couldn't watch that every week" to "Why don't they want to watch that every week".

interesting snippets here on not seeing Reach as a left back long term and thoughts on Magnus and Lowry

How does it go? Or dare I ask!
Special mention for Grimmer tonight too, I really did think he was excellent. But they all had very good games, well done lads!

Yeah that is a shit one, think I’ve worked it out now. Classless.
It’s not a good look. Open mouthed gum chewing is a rare sight these days, fortunately.
