According to the Birmingham forum, there is no bone or ligament damage to Stansfield and they are hopeful he will be fit to play against us. He’s no Kone, but he’s obviously an important player for them given what they spent on him and his goal return (just under a million a goal at the moment).
Yep, although they’ve got a tough old game against Reading on Saturday. I hope we start gathering some momentum now we’ve got those first three points under Dodds.
Watched the Madrid - City game last night and two things: 1. Mbappe is ridiculous 2. The SIZE of the big screens at the revamped Bernabeu! Never seen anything like it. We need the same.
It’s all starting to go horribly wrong for Oxford. Decisions on the new ground delayed again and that’s even before it ends up in court if it’s approved.
I continue to find it baffling that Steve Cooper is hated so much by Leicester fans, though they are getting a healthy dose of "careful what you wish for when getting excited about an ex-star player who is now an unproven manager" with RVN.
Steve Cooper: P12 W2 D4 L6 F15 A23 GD-8 Pts 10 PPG 0.83 PPG over 38 games: 31.66 points
Went on their forum and though they have come around to RVN not having what it takes, they are still saying Steve Cooper was awful, even though his PPG would have them on 21-22 points right now, and out of the relegation zone.
Birmingham draw with Reading and extend their unbeaten run. Would be very harsh on Reading to say Birmingham dropped two points, I think Reading had the better of the chances in the second half and both sides would have taken the result, and obviously we’ve got Reading still to come. But still, a win today for us allows us to chip away and with Wrexham playing tomorrow, a nice psychological advantage over them.
However, Birmingham picked up a number of injuries in that game and they looked leggy. They have Orient on Tuesday which is going to be tough, and then some tinpot club called ‘Little Wycombe’ four days later.
I’m still looking up as much as looking down. Please football Gods, shine your light on those famous quarters!!

Alfie May, Dykes, one or two others not bad for this division, won't cry for them just yet.

Can't believe the scale of the competitive advantage they've allowed us to have with this update.
Take the penalties (which account for 7 of his 16 goals) away and he's an even bigger bargain...
But why did City leave their best players on the bench? It seems they conceded the tie right from the start.
Haaland was injured, not sure about the rest
Because they've mostly been crap all season?
If he was injured why was he on the bench?
There in case they kept Madrid at bay and needed a goal late on I guess, but the tie was dead before HT

David Wheeler has signed for Shrewsbury (To the surprised of No One)
Fair enough
Good move for all
Ainsworth, Dobbo, Gape and Wheeler. I am almost envious of Shrewsbury fans!

Homeless in 14 months and at least 4 years away from a new ground, if at all.
We are going to destroy Leicester next season.
10 league defeats from 11 - and even the one win was only against Spurs

Manchester United. That is all.
Superb clearance off the line from Reading.
Dykes was 6 yards out with the whole goal to aim at!
Dykes now injured. If that keeps him out next week, Alfie May will start. So that's Brum starting a goal up already
A few injuries building there. 2 off today, Stansfield apparently not as bad as feared, but could still be a month and 7 games out.

Agreed, great comeback even in a difficult period for the club
And Birmingham drop points . Hopefully entering their own difficult period

Tough set of results for GA, suddenly seven points off Peterborough having been almost in touching distance last week.
