Definitely. I'm taking my eldest daughter and my son. I'd of took them regardless of price, however a couple of kids who play football with my daughter are coming too and an extra adult. Might even have more attending come matchday and I think the short distance (about an hour) and the price plays a big part in this.
As for the game I'm looking forward to seeing what team we put out and how we look. Feels like Dodds has been here for ages without playing a match. I feel it's gone from Mike Who to wow we've got a great fella who's highly respected in football etc... but ultimately it comes down to results and let's hope we get one on Saturday and I believe we can.
Yeah absolutely, I'd have been there regardless but as it is only a tenner I've convinced my mum, aunt, and two cousins to come along as well (none of whom are really Wycombe fans mind, but they'll get behind the boys). Should be a superb turnout to welcome Doddsy to the club!
Never gets old. Not just Leicester v Wycombe in the FA Cup 6th Round. This was high-flying Premier League Leicester v an absolutely decimated third tier Wycombe, replete with a bloke they’d found on the horse-drawn internet.
Definitely. The bit people might not remember is Leicester had beaten Liverpool at home quite comfortably the Saturday before, and were as high as 6th in the league?
Whilst the game v Leicester was epic, I was there at Selhurst Park for the 5th round game against Wimbledon. And what that game was. It had everything. Taylor saving a penalty, down to ten men for almost an hour, extra time and scoring in the dying seconds to force the game to penalties. And the ecstasy changing to panic trying to get the final train back to Wycombe from Marylebone. 2001 was one hell of a season. I love this tournament.
The win at Leicester was the bigger result i suppose, but if i was only allowed to watch one game over and over again for the rest of my life, it'd be the Wimbledon replay.
Yep, it was the precursor to nine defeats in their final 10 games, and was arguably the beginning of the end of Peter Taylor’s reign, which had started so well. Strange swings and roundabouts that he’d later assume the Wycombe hot seat!

Fair play to PNE for pricing really decently 🙌👏
So this is why Hulu was down this afternoon!

And fair play to Wycombe too … given it’s FA Cup BOTH clubs agree the prices.

Oh, I thought that was a new thing. Never mind - still such an incredible story.
