There seems to be a keen push on getting wingers in recently. Are we just safeguarding / getting our McCleary replacement(s) in before the end of the season or am I missing something?
Definitely seem overloaded though maybe Sads not back anytime soon and we may see Bez/Udoh rotating more with Kone through the middle with McCleary/Fred/Berry/Reach rotating out wide but that still leaves Kodua and I also wouldn't be surprised if a striker magically appears before 11pm
I think we are just covering our bases as the schedule is relentless and rotation will be the key. Also seems to be half an eye on next season/the future.
I know Berry/Lowry weren’t more expensive than Magnus but does anyone know if they were more than the old transfer record? Breaking a transfer record potentially 4 times in one window is crazy stuff!
Bishop has left and joined Cambridge for the rest of the season. (I'm guessing we just left him there on Sat?) Seems like Norris will be announced soon

The link @WestLondonWanderer helpfully provides suggests was training with Swansea.
Not a player i know anything about. As always welcome and wish him well.
I think you might need to put your phone on charge......
He's actually a midfielder, and more in the Morley role
Wikipedia says he's a midfielder rather than a defender...
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Xavier_Simons
and so does this:

"Talks are ongoing between the club and Swedish outfit AIK over a move for midfielder Xavier Simons."

Looks like we will be getting Xavier Simons on a Loan with an option to buy in the Summer
Doesn't count towards the squad cap either
This would be a superb signing, and would certainly fill the Morley hole in midfield.
What's the original origin of "seen filling up at cressex"?

Xavier looks a little like Morley from a quick glance too.
That may or not have been factored in.

Virgin
It's not that relentless is it?
We'll only have 5 Tue games over 4months now.
Relentless was when we had that 4 games in 10 days spell.
You're not factoring our charge to the FA Cup Final in here.
It'll be more relentless once we've beaten Preston on Saturday and then beaten Stoke (at a guess) in the 5th round
Let's hope so.
We need more games to give all these new players some games.

I would also hope there are some behind closed doors games lined up for the midweeks we have no games but who knows
I'd assume there are loads lined up now we are at the new gaf.
Nathan Bishop joins Cambridge on loan, freeing up room for the Norris deal.

Any news on Bishop?

I’m loving this image. Yeah, we’ve got a spare goalie. Would you like him? Can you put him up? He brought a change of clothes with him
hope that doesn’t sound too disrespectful. The lad has had rotten luck with us - twice
An appropriately diagonal move
