That's Brilliant news. Will it be Low and Taylor again then ?. Think will be harsh on Bradley who's been Brilliant. Or do you think Joe's on his way ?.
Excellent signing. I don't necessarily think this means the end for Low (and could just mean loans out for Skura and / or Hartridge) but if Low was to leave, I'd be extremely confident in Taylor, Bradley and Skura to carry us through, with Anders to come.
If we keep hold of Low, it means that we finish January stronger than we started in terms of defenders. Bradley is fast becoming one of the first names on the team sheet but we don’t have a great deal of resilience in terms of injury cover. Dec is brilliant but also still raw, Hartridge is probably a better LB cover than he is CB and naturally we no longer have Taf.
A really strange feeling of yess...that's sort of good, but how do we fit him in?
He's definitely not coming back to be a bench filler after being such an ever present here before, but as we still haven't actually got a manager right now, who is to know!?
Another difficult decision for Sam this weekend, as even if we do suddenly appoint a new manager in the next 2 days, you'd imagine he would still guide over the line-up for Cambridge.
Must be an odd feeling for Skura, and another absolute blow for Hartridge who must be struggling to play another game now unless we put in a big rotation for the FA cup.
Great news this ! But we are definitely a bit overloaded at center back now. I'm also wondering if Joe is on the move, if not then surely Skura and/or Hartridge might have to go on loan at least
There are key positions that you are fecked if you lose one or two players. Centre half is certainly one. Playing Leahy, Grimmer or Hartridge in there is far from ideal but we have had to.
Maybe the data got it wrong with Anders and it turns out he's one of those Championship Manager hail Mary signings that turn out to be duds. In which case Caleb might be required regularly. Otherwise I'm slightly at a loss as to who is our first choice central defensive pair and why we keep signing more of them when it's the Morley replacement we so desperately need.
I think we’ll have right back cover and a Morley replacement by the end of this window, plus maybe one more. It feels like the ownership group are starting to flex a little and possibly future planning against the changes in spending rules.

Woohoo!!!
Huge flexibility at the back

Does Caleb count as an under 21 player or do we need to loose one from the squad to fit him in?
also, does Joe Low count as an over, or under 21?
He counts as u21

Edit because I completely forgot about Anders!
But it takes us up to five loans so any more and we will have to leave players out.
Excellent. So doesn’t immediately count as needing to move someone on.

Fantastic signing, that's three absolute top-notch centre backs we have (J-Low, Taylor & Bradley)
If Anders is not yet ready it makes perfect sense, as would sending Skura out for some regular game time.
Hartridge I see as a decent backup left back but shouldn't really be considered as a centre back.
Could be that Joe Low’s injury is worst than we all thought, or Swansea have made a massive bid and he is on his way.
Looking at his record back at WBA he basically played in 1 cup thrashing, then was on the bench all the other games.
Waste of time! But at least he's back now.
I wonder if this is a loan but with a commitment to make into a permanent move? I like Caleb and great to have him back.
Not exactly . Grimmer has done his calf in and we are weak at right back still .
If we did go up he'd surely entertain the idea.
Depending on personal set up being from the WB area.
Most footballers seem to be open to big moves of distance though for the right opportunity as the life has a lot of travel anyway.

So 3 at the back with Fred & Leahy wing backs?
He did score in that thrashing. Which is what you want your defenders doing….right…?
Leahy as a wing back would be interesting....
My initial reaction is that it must mean Low is leaving permanently or Hartridge or Skura are going out on loan.
It would be great for Declan's development if he could go somewhere in L2 and play 20 games before the end of the season.
And Alex just needs to play somewhere to get his confidence back.

A luxury signing maybe but one of real intent.
A good day.

And right back cover.
Leahy can’t play wing back and we’ve also just signed James Berry and Sadlier will be back. One day.
Had a chat with Sads at the Northampton game and he said he would be back in about 4 weeks.
The longer time goes on the more I wonder if Sadlier even exists and is actually a myth that @Shev made up.

You're asking a lot with only a few days left.
3rd Feb is it? Monday?
Unless he had a first day like George Weahs cousin, it’s a bit early to say whether the Data got it wrong or not.
More likely picked up an injury or is a few weeks longer away from being match ready after the end of the season in the league he was playing in.
