Now the club are trying to annoy our Legends
I have it on good authority that on Thursday the club emailed supporters who have bought a season long package in the legend lounge that they couldn't be accommodated there for the Barnsley match.
Apparently someone has rented the Legend Lounge out to "Partners" for this match without considering the consequences. Either that or they don't care about the supporters they have already sold the package to.
Either way it demonstrates an appalling lack of management on someone's part.
Glad I'm not paying £100 per game to watch from the Legends Lounge.

Maybe Danuard are conducting interviews in there? Or turning it into a data centre?
Lommy's coming and needs space for the horses.
How much like a Daily Mail clickbait headline does this thread title sound like?
I still fell for it.
Disclaimer: No Legends were affected by the making of this decision
Sucker, 😆
There was I thinking "Partners" was a codeword for the inaugural meeting of the new "Ricicles Fan Club"
I'd be seriously interested to know on what basis those who have given my original post a thumbs down did so.
I assume you think it's alright for the club to tell those who have already paid a premium for the Legends Lounge that they can't use the facility because someone thought it was okay to rent out the room to "Partners"?
Astonishing.
I once got a thumbs down for identifying Steve Buscemi in 30 Rock. Beat that!!
When I was involved with the Lounge in its previous incarnation we managed to host sponsor events (including product demonstrations) also live tv studio punditry all whilst still maintaining the Lounge facility for those paying guests - indeed the concurrent events probably enhanced the experience. As indeed did visits from Rob and Pete with a bit of glad handing and chat. Real shame that atmosphere of ‘we’ has now been replaced by ‘us & them’.
Too soon for "it's just business" and "we'll never know what really happened anyway" comments?
I would assume it’s a thumbs down in a ‘read the room’ situation following yesterday.
Yep, thought the club were somehow managing to cheese off our past players or something.
Over the years in both the Vere and whatever Legends was before we’ve been kicked out or shifted around for various events. Whether that be weddings or the visit of a popular beat combo from Manchester.
Nothing more than that.
I’m sure the commercial team didn’t take the decision lightly as I’m sure they didn’t in the past.
No legends were harmed in the making of this decision.
I was guessing that Dan Rice had called Dave Carroll a data disaster.
I’d love to see the data on Simon Garner
