Knowing absolutely nothing about Lowry as a player, I like the thought behind this. Realistically, Humphreys is the only natural 10 in our squad right now and no matter how brilliant he has been, we'd benefit from some competition and equal rotation in that position. I suspect this is also future planning for life after Humphreys.
You never know whats going on in someone's life to make their attitude the way it is. Environment, situation, people around you. Happens in every workplace. Maybe a reset is whats needed.
Well you'd hope that Jack, Gareth & Sam can take him under their wing, get him settled, show him the ropes and plant that seed that he could be excellent for this club and let him grow!
Maybe this is the break that he needs. Being around the same environment when you've just lost a loved one and at an age where his head is all over the place already can't be easy. Hopefully a new environment, new setting & teammates will allow him to discover the passion & skill he showed
More noise from some LT news handle about sniffing around our squad. Given we are starting to see how our ownership operate, and I suspect our legal team are very on the ball, good luck!!
They did just buy Isaiah Jones for 5m, and sold Joe Taylor for 3m, so I'd say them offering that kind of fee this month isn't out of the question...
@kipper is this what you were referring to with the big bid being rejected a few pages back..?
If I was Dan Rice, I wouldn't sell Kone for any price this month. Let him get the League 1 golden boot, fire us to promotion, and his value doubles overnight in May.
I think realistically the only 2 players he would be looking at would be Low and Kone. We have already rejected bids for Low but given he’s not been in the squad for 2 weeks I suspect we think he might go.
Unless someone comes in with big money for Kone, no chance we should be selling him. Also, if he continues as he is I suspect he’ll get a bigger move than Luton come the summer.

rangers lad done deal😀
My mate who is a Scotland ST holder and follows them home and away, including U21s, says basically exactly the same.
Morley replacement?
No, totally different type of player. Attacking midfielder, plays as a 10.
For some reason I totally missed your explanation and assumed this for manager!
Sounds promising if his head is back in the game.
What position? Attacking mid?
Yep, as above, plays attacking midfield in behind the striker
A change of environment might be just what he needs and two Scot’s in the way of Jack and Dan if he get’s ’home sick’
Humphries replacement?

Not sure he would have passed the old character test. But maybe a fresh start is exactly what he needs.

I guess we’ll soon find out if a data model can incorporate things like a bad attitude.
A challenge for the new manager.
Brentford managed to get the best of Ivan Toney
Does this give us too many forward / AM options for the rest of the season? Or does it mean that we have a few departures coming up?

He's had it tough. His mum died the other year when he was 19.

Also in fairness, Rangers is a complete basket case club.

Fantastic to see that we are still scouring the non-league market, even with Data Dan pulling the strings.

Bloomfield confirms he hasn't made any commitment not to try and buy our players this month. That's not very Mr Wycombe.
We are after a Rangers player https://x.com/SportsPeteO/status/1881288567466647930

if he comes back to try take our players , his legacy with us will be damaged
He can try, but he'll need a lot of wad.
It seems my hopes of a clause preventing that were misplaced
Luton have got a lot of wad
The days of us being fleeced are long gone though.
So if he wants to bid 6m for Kone or something we'll listen.
