Ah crap, I voted Schumacher before I spotted Martin
I went Hiljemark. I'd be curious to go the foreign route, and he seems like an up-and-comer.
Very appropriate for a manager who impresses people without getting actual results.
(sorry, I couldn't resist).
Ainsworth will probably win a 'manager we want' contest.
A 'manager we need' contest would be much more complicated.
It also depends if Bloomsball is now "how we play" per the remarks on the new signing from Rice. If we are going to maintain the level of directness, it would potentially rule out some of the above?
Schumacher for me. Get him signed up please Dan.
Norgaard because I put £20 on it when the odds were much longer.
Someone else mentioned Adam Hinselwood on another thread. I'd definitely like him to be interviewed.
Claus Norgaard seems to be the favourite doesn't he? The bookies can't have just randomly stumbled across him. They rarely get caught out.
How does it feel to have massively affected a betting market and caused a puzzled thread on the Brentford forum?
With great power comes great responsibility, you know! 😂
It's a tough one - per my joke above, @OxfordBlue may have thrown a spanner in the whole thing by having a flutter.
On the other hand, we have bought two Danish players and clearly want to follow the trail which has been blazed by the likes of Brentford.
It is going to be interesting to see which!
I'm going to put £21 on you and see if it pushes your name to the top.
I believe in synergistic alignment and a data-driven process that leads to the right outcomes, so I think I am a perfect fit!
Joe Jacobsen......long shot, badges?.Does he even want to be a football manager?
In my dreams Lee Carsley but realistically Schumacher.
In his interview yesterday he was clear he had no desire for that side of the game. He was interim for about 45 minutes, though!
I could see the headlines with you as manager
"Wycombe manager shevs it to Birmingham"
"Simply Shevtastic"
"When push comes to shev"
"We shevlute you"
This stuff writes itself.
In my dreams Lucy Liu but those dreams aren't really relevant to the issue at hand.
Yes, I went for Schumacher but Lee Carsley would be absolutely brilliant. Maybe Dan and team can sell him the dream.
"He has been a disaster of a manager in his first five games, but let's play Shevil's advocate for a moment."
Best one yet!
He needs some experience first.
But I believe Mr Rice will replace himself with JJ when the time comes. Data and that.
From talking to JJ last season, he sees himself more business operational management not football management. The Reading post that was lined up for him with Rob was ideal (still might happen)
I’m not at the Mansfield game this weekend because (ironically) I’m at Luton vs Preston with some mates.
Please can our crowd give Sam Grace all the credit he deserves for picking up the pieces after a very challenging week or two?
I’d love to hear a loud and proud “Sam Grace’s Barmy Army”
Will the Shevolution be televised?
Joe Jacobson is currently a student on the PFA’s Diploma in Global Football Business Management (Instagram post)
It will be box office. You'll all be pleased to know that I really will pick my mates!
Can’t wait for the Netflix series 👍👍.
Not sure you've got what we need @Shev
Don't be disheartened though, you'll probably best fit in at Shevvield Wednesday.
Sheverton?
