What a statement from the club getting this lad in. We can all speculate but ML is putting a lot of money into our club and after the upheaval of the past week, we are still focused on getting automatic promotion.
So despite all those Wrexham articles writing us off, we are still in the hunt!!!!!! COYB.
The timing of the signings coinciding with possibly one of the most heartbreaking moments following the blues for the past 30+ years making me feel strangely ambivalent about the club having broken its transfer twice in a week.
It's a pretty big gamble throwing (by our standards) astronomical money at players with impressive pedigree overseas but an unknown quantity at League One level.
Hopefully the gambles will pay off and that the special environment nurtured by Ainsworth and then Bloomfield can be kept going and continue to develop players from ever more diverse backgrounds.
At least give him 10mins of his first game before deciding he's underwhelming!
And I know some fans love writing a player off at 30, but come on, a 26 year old should be absolute peak age and a superb season here could quickly bolster his value, especially if we went up!
The club break their our transfer record twice and despite nobody seeing them play they doubt there any good , some of the so called fans on here are unbelievable , just as bad as the facebook crowd maybe worse
Box to box midfielder. Likes to get forward but happy to do the defender as well. Sounds a bit like that bloke we had in midfield for ages. Got a testimonial or something I seem to remember. Matt something…
Two different players can't wear the same quad number in a given season (edit: without filing a load of paperwork). And seeing as apparently nobody watched the interview with the other Dane when he arrived, new arrivals are being offered 38 and up.

Or Leahy going to Luton 😁😁

Thanks for the clarification, BFP; I really wasn't sure.
I did wonder why they showed an MK fan wearing a Wycombe coat in the photo!
I started trying to work out what the ground is before realising even I'm not that much of an anorak

Looks like Wembley to me.

Ok, I cheated and found the image with its original alt text. It's not Wembley...
Describes himself as "dynamic box-to-box"

It is absolutely astounding that we've doubled what must be a 25 year old transfer record TWICE in 2 weeks.
Wonder how many other clubs have ever done that!?
How many have even broken their transfer record that quickly?
Always sensible posts from you @Malone 👍
I'm sure there's a couple who'd disagree with you

"What attracted you specifically about Wycombe Wanderers"
"I've always wanted to play in England"
Just kidding - these 2 signings are a masterclass
(I hope. Having never even heard of either until a week ago)
For the record, I think they will be very good at our level and in the championship when we get promoted at the end of this season.
This deserves more thumbs up.
We must be close to being able to name an entirely non-English starting XI now. The worldwide phenomenon is alive and well!
(It's The Valley)

Bloomfield. That’s it.
Wonder what he’s upto these days.
Laudrup, Laudrup, New Guy, Nick Freeman

As I said, let me dream my (pipe) dream and then it will be Morley - who? February 1st!!
Bradley has McCarthy's old number
That report that comes out every now and then with every team's agent payment totals is going to make very interesting reading.
