Just watched Blooms' message to Wycombe fans. Was expecting something far more revelatory from some of the reactions here. Sounds like it's exactly as I suspected: he and the hierarchy differed in how they wanted to do things. That happens - doesn't mean one was in the right and one was in the wrong.
I certainly don't agree with the suggestion that he'd have ignored the lure of Luton had the Couhigs still been in charge. I still think some are underestimating what a fantastic opportunity he's got there.
Can all those who are anti Dan Rice get their comments out of their system tonight please so we can crack on with the rest of the season. There’s a promotion and cup run to be getting on with.
Can you remember Big Ron: Troubleshooter? A TV programme in which Ron Atkinson went to a club and shot a load of trouble around and then left shaking his head.
I actually thought of registering myself as @gasbag when I joined in February 2015.
Sorry about the two “thanks Eric” comments yesterday and a few weeks ago. I honestly thought you must have downvoted me as the downward thumb appeared soon after your own comment. Just being silly and hypersensitive, I’m afraid.
@Chris yes I love spag bol, but whenever I’ve said to myself that dinner tasted fantastic it’s definitely down to the bolognese rather than the pasta element!
Having said that maybe Mrs username123 buys cr@p spaghetti.
I got a feeling this lot will be worse than prime Hayes in the long run. Let’s see where the new stadium gets built in a few years.
Doctor/Physio - removed
Scott Mitchell - removed
Matt B/Lee H/Rich T/Ben - left
Neil Peters - has he gone, can’t see him listed on website. Had read he’s left the building on here a few weeks back. Happy to be corrected.
Who’s next?
Quite clear to me they want to clear the decks and couldn’t possibly do it whilst we were over achieving. They’ve made life as difficult as possible until they’ve decided to walk. Probably taken away all the little perks they’d built up, micro managed, taken decisions without consultation etc, etc. Most of us would have seen it elsewhere in our day to day jobs.
They may bring success on the pitch but they are not great custodians of this wonderful football club IMHO.
When you have the likes of Neil and MB walking away after the years of service they’ve given something doesn’t feel right.
We’ve had some amazing years and the Couhigs were just what we needed when things looked very bleak.
Rob made his money and left but quickly came back 20 miles over the fields when he saw more money to be made.
Pete gave up a lot to stay in the UK for a long period and I genuinely think he loves the club and the culture of good people. I enjoy hearing or seeing him at games since his Uncle sold, that says a lot.

I’m Rice Out now. Give us our club back. Where do I sign up for Bannergang 2024?

I don't think it's a time to go against Rice.
We don't know what happened. We don't know Rice.
Let's see if this change is for the better "long term" as they keep promising.
Rice is pretty squarely bottom of my staple food ranking.
1. Bread
2. Pasta
3. Potato
4. Rice
That’s the correct ranking Chris.
Some people just seem to like going against the grain
Very good 🙃

Nah
Will pro-Rice fans stop telling anti-Rice fans to stop moaning about Rice.
'You lost Ricemoaners get over it!'
How can you put pasta above potato? Mash with gravy or crispy Sunday roasties. Good god man what has this world come too???!!!
Won't be long until Rice leaves. He doesn't stay around for too long. Can see why... Gut feeling is wouldn't trust him one iota.
Have you tried spaghetti bolognese?
(With Linda McCartney mince in my case although I understand that’s not everyone’s cup of tea)
To be fair to Dan, I do like rice pudding.

Yes!!! Great viewing from memory

If the season goes down the shitter, you can all bask in your self righteous glow. Lovely.
Lighten up, Piers, it was a little joke to end the day.
Sensational!

These types of people don’t tend to walk away.
Lure of Luton.
I wonder if that phrase has ever been used before in the history of words.
Yes Neil gone about a month back. Kept everything going behind the scenes working 24/7. Had a good relationship with Rob.
I hope Phil doesn’t leave too
