The Luton Chairman said this week he's looking for a quick appointment, so if Blooms is genuinely in the picture (and this isn't just bookie talk) then expect them to make an approach over the next week or so.
Clubs in relegation trouble generally make a short term quick fix appointment of someone with experience of the division. Someone they believe can make a quick impression on an ailing squad. This would tie in with their chairman’s statement about a quick appointment. I don’t think MB fits the bill, hope not anyway.
I'm with @barneysmith . Relegation looking.likely? Who's that at the top of the League below whose team have had a good start but have dropped off a bit recently and look like the playoffs might be a more realistic outcome at the end of the season?
Him or Warnock, do you think?
Good luck to Luton if they want to take the risk of appointing him and Matt wants the risk of taking the job.
I'm loving the MB revolution but I still doubt it myself.
I think they'll go for someone young but more experienced than Blooms, although I'm sure Blooms would jump at the opportunity if it came his way. They're in a bad moment, but Luton have so much going for them as a club.
Though that is just on Skybet, Bet Victor’s odds are significantly closer. I would suggest no one has a clue at this stage and the money being placed is minimal but who knows
Some of their forum are asking if he would try bring Kone, Onyedinma etc with him. One also asks if Sonny Bradley would come...that one seems less likely

Bloomfield 1/4 clear favourite this evening

I'm a jaded international playboy who has seen too much but if MB heads off to Luton this week I will be very surprised.
And a bit sad depending on who the replacement is.
Now I'm concerned
Who’s the hottest manager in Scandinavia right now? Get your money on him - or her.
Michael Laudrup to take over?
Wake up, sheeple.

MB walks and Lommy announces he's taking over team affairs.
Reading fans do a Viborg and sell us bedsheets for ten times what they paid for them.
Bloomfield on his first day at Luton:
”Rob must have been hated here. Look at the place, there’s been riots”
”Oh no, nothing like that happened Matthew, you’re in Luton now”
Imagine swapping the beautiful hills of Bucks for the slums of Luton. Wait, has anybody checked if Blooms drives down Desborough to get to the ground?

warnock?
First name of regular fire-fighting managerial appointment that popped into my head. Other managers experienced at that level are available.
Hasn't Warnock finally retired for real? I can see them going for Schumacher.
FWIW Schumacher was as short as 1/10 the day before Plymouth went and appointed someone else.
Agree, you can envision them potentially becoming a success like Brighton once they settle into their new ground.
I can see Wycombe potentially becoming a success like Brentford once we settle into our new stadium.
Our new stadium near Heathrow..?
Bloomfield now 10-1 on with no other candidates close. Worrying

Goodness knows. I just wanted to get “envision” out of my mind.
Second favourite is 12/1 with Blooms 1/10.
At least when Bloomfield leaves he will be 2/1 for the Wycombe job.
1/10 now

Sorry just seen this was posted...
'ActonHatter' on the Luton Town forum is reporting that it is a done deal. Take from that what you will
He sounds like he knows his stuff.

Now that's getting carried away, already asking about signings!
From the noises I'm hearing, it is close
