I think that sums up why United have been so poor for the last three years. He is no leader and I can't see that most of his team mates would have a great respect for him.
I am treating this Arsenal-Man United game like the winner is playing us in the 4th round, and they are barely trying because they are both afraid...very afraid.
Now we have to wait another half hour for the draw. A little ironic when they have scrapped replays at the behest of big clubs, that all of the lower league teams remaining in the draw have to wait longer because two big PL clubs can't get a result!
The WC final and the Wimbledon game are exceptions which prove the rule. The vast majority of extra-times are absolutely abject.
Though if you have to have it, it is absolute insanity not to have a golden goal. You spend all this time trying to separate two teams, finally get separation...and then play on to see if you can knot them again.

Imray looks an excellent player. Wouldn't say no to him, although it seems we're looking elsewhere.
Yes maybe.
But chances are Spurs would have gone stronger earlier?
Bruno Fernandes booked for throwing his boot in a huff 😂 Such a poor example for a captain.

He's a great player but an absolute child
He's got to be the worst choice for captain that I've ever seen
Seeing Theo Walcott retired and working as a pundit makes me feel absolutely ancient

I reckon half our regulars 'support' Arsenal or United anyway
Worst choice for a captain just putting United 1-0 up there
Some finish as well. Might be a terrible captain but he is their best player
Dalot what an idiot
Inexplicable decision making in that area of the pitch, on a booking, with 30mins to go. Daft. And probably cost the game.
They said Sterling has never scored against United...
Great cheating by Havertz...
Havertz having a screamer. "Buys" a penalty then goes down like he's been absolutely pole axed.
Good save that
Looked like Ganacho was lucky there as well , putting hands on. VAR being missed by the clubs if not the fans.
Swansea still in the Cup...does that explain Low's illness, I wonder.

It's a shame this game has gone to extra time, getting in the way of the main event, finding out the mighty Wanderers next opponents
It should just go straight to penalties. No one likes extra time.
I've watched the draw ahead. It's Plymouth away.
Yeah, the world cup final was terrible
Now I wasn't there but I'm sure those who were at Selhurst Park to see Paul McCarthy's last minute goal might disagree
Best game ever
Does anyone else hear Green Velvet in their head whenever the commentator mentions Partey?

The final and maybe semis should have extra time (probably all knockout games at the WC should), but there's no need in earlier rounds
Probably shouldn't mention what a lot will think when they hear that name..
I could live with that - with the golden goal added too, ideally.
