This match has probably come at a bad time for both sides! They do seem to have a lot of injuries and have several of their regulars unavailable tonight. Their form is similar to ours with the wins they were getting a few weeks back, being replaced by uninspiring draws. Clearly a very tough match though and they're on a long unbeaten run.
We could really do with the likes of Fred and McCleary finding their form again and taking advantage of the changes forced upon Huddersfield.
Feels like a huge game tonight. Our game in hand on Wrexham, a win would really distance Huddersfield (albeit they'd have a game in hand), tricky conditions, a side not in the best form. Gutted to be missing it - COYB!
Crikey, it’s Hudd-ageddon on here. Clearly a very important game, perhaps a ‘must not lose’ encounter with a draw not a disastrous result. I don’t think GMac was wearing his lucky gloves on Saturday, he should definitely put them back on.
Like Blackpool, Huddersfield are certainly not shot shy but they have only gained 3 points from a losing position this season. So let’s get the first goal and finish them off.
For a man who loses his absolute corn if they don't have certain food available, you're remarkably dismissive of anyone else's worries on actual results and performances 🤣
It would help if we would stop catering for strikers such as Udoh and Lubala who are not natural wingers going on the left and sticking Fred back to his natural side. If we are utilizing strikers out wide to get them in the team then stick them on the right. I was amazed we stuck gmac out on the left at the weekend. Something needs a shake up.
Harvie, Low, Scowen, Humphreys and Kone are must starts for me, every other position up for grabs. (Though in our current situation Grimmer and Bradley are pretty much in that category too).
Patrick Stewart is a lifelong supporter of his local football club Huddersfield Town A.F.C.[138] He was at Wembley Stadium in 2017 when the club won promotion to the top division for the first time since 1972.[139] Since 2010, he has been president of Huddersfield Town Academy, the club's project for identifying and developing young talent.[140]
Nice if Low picked up a slight knock at the end of tonight...enough to put off nervous January buyers but will see him bounce back when the window closes.
Helik and Kane both expected to start for them. They’re missing a lot of players, but those two are exceptional for this level. Kone has his work cut out for him because Helik is a beast. Scowen could have a man marking job on Kane tonight. I think the game will be won or lost in Humphreys’ area of the pitch.
This is why i like you, you can take a little tickle in a sensible way.
And you are right, there's levels of moans. Moaning at a new signing before they've kicked a ball is absolute madness. Except, and I insist except when we brought that little striker fella in. Benyon? I had literally written him off at first sight!

Interesting… Some of them hoping for the game to be postponed, maybe they don’t realise we have undersoil heating?

A Huddersfield fan I work with says over the past 2 games they've had 54 shots, scoring 1 goal. He's got money on a 0-0.
A proper 6 pointer.
Fred and GMac to dispel the ‘can they do it on a cold night in January?’ cliche. COYB’s!
Not just a six pointer, a must win promotion six pointer. The highest level there is
Let’s hope for the same result as the Lincoln 6 pointer in ‘99
A pivotal moment in not just this season but the entire future of the football club.
Not to exaggerate, but the future of the world depends on this game!

The future of a few bedsheets is definitely on the line tonight. Unrecoverable levels of soiling if we slip up.
2030 if we win tonight
2030 if we lose

Way beyond that.
We either win and secure the future of our club, or lose and guarantee we'll be down the Rye in 3 or 4 years.
A draw is neutral.

Please can someone make Fred angry tonight? We need him at his best

Much prefer Fred on the right cutting in

They have a famous fan!

Wasn’t Hurd-ageddon when they battered us 6-0 at home on the telly ? 😂
Twice!
The site of an infamous ignominious F.A. Cup exit.
It’s a fair point!

That’s if Low plays? I’m worried he will be ‘rested’ tonight…then we will know he is off.
I'm expecting him to play, but will be on "is he waving goodbye at full time" watch.
