Just seen this thread. Happy Christmas and New Year to us all. As other posters have said, the Gasroom is a great place to share hopes and thoughts, it's OK not to always agree and it has been nice to welcome our Bolton and Reading posters as well.
Bit on a random one. I think I’m onto something here, but I’ve also had about 10 pints. There’s the abba song that goes “don’t go wasting your emotion” - or words to that effect. It’s dying for a big belt of “Fraaaaancoooo ravizzzzzollliiiiiiii” as the second line. But what can we get working as the first line. Rhyming with emotion?
A belated Christmas wish to you all. Hoping we all get what we wish for in the coming year and remembering those that we have lost on the way as well, this is without doubt the best football forum to debate on. We may not always agree, but at least it is civilised. Cheers everyone. 🍺
Lovely message from the majority owner to the trust ( don’t think I’m breaking any rules by sharing) no mention of signings or caramel wafers.
We would like to extend our warmest wishes to you and your families for a Merry Christmas and a happy, healthy, and prosperous New Year.
While we celebrate our achievements, we recognise that there is still a lot of hard work ahead. We do not believe in relying on luck but in the power of teamwork and dedication. Together, we look forward to working with everyone to build sustainable success that will benefit the club in the long term.
The New Year is an exciting opportunity to build on the achievements of this year, and we look forward to celebrating more successes as a club.
May this Christmas bring you and your loved one’s joy, warmth, and well-deserved relaxation.
Thank you, and here’s to a bright and successful year ahead.
I like the line about the New Year being an exciting opportunity to build. I shall take it to mean they are willing to appropriately fund a promotion campaign.

Merry Christmas to all
Merry Christmas everyone!
Happy Christmas Everyone
Happy Christmas one and all!
Late as ever.
Hope you’ve all had as enjoyable a day with family (or whoever) as mrs micra and I have had.
I suspect I should have said whomever.
Wife's Xmas dinner
My Xmas dinner
Happy Christmas gasboys and girls
You little fibber. We can see your main course. Unless it’s your wife’s second helping.
My wife loves a second helping (bit of blue for the dads, there)
My wife is having dinner as she is eating out. I suppose I am having supper or tea or snap OR WHATEVER
Now you’re talking , all I want for the new year is Tunnock’s in the kiosks.
And promotion.
Merry Christmas everyone.
And world peace but mostly promotion.
The plain chocolate Tunnocks in the blue wrapping are nicer.
But whatever your preference, Merry Christmas all.
Well it could always be worse....
When your Xmas Deliveroo options are three local garages you take what you can get,
Which I suppose is an update on Jesus's story of the widow's mite.
The other Gasroomers had lovely food but that poor sod had Tunnocks, he ate all he had.
Love a Tunnocks myself. The Jack Grimmer of biscuits. Dependable, classy and comes south of the border to bring joy to the enlightened.

Or we are getting a a chairlift.
I got the same message. Very positive, apart from the redundant apostrophe in 'loved ones'.
