For those who want to watch the game, I believe it is available on Sky Sports+ and NOW.

  • Think the side will look like this:

    Ravs

Jasper - Skura - Hartridge - JMac? (maybe Harvie)

    Bakinson - Ward - Leahy

    Bartolo - Udoh - Kone

A mix of experience and youth - Blooms will want to win so won't throw 11 kids out but I'm sure we'll see a couple of them.

  • That lineup would be pretty entertaining. Looking forward to it. But might have to be on the laptop on a hard dining room chair. Mrs micra indulged me yesterday evening with a couple of reasonably brief visits to the Leicester v Spurs match !

  • @micra You know laptops are kinda portable right?

  • I do indeed, sir, but mine is over 12 years old, battery’s kaput and it has to be left permanently plugged in to the mains in the dining room.

Re the Sky+ coverage, how come the US Open or something is scheduled to start at 9pm whilst the matches are still being played? It is a 7.45 pm kickoff isn’t it?

Sky Sports+ offers a main channel with a primary broadcast, and pressing the red button on your remote reveals additional sub-channels. These sub-channels operate independently, so they won’t be disrupted by the main channel's content. I must admit, I’m not entirely clear on how this works via the app on laptops. And yes, the kick-off is at 7:45.

  • I really hope that’s 4-4-2. Udoh and Vokes could be great together.

  • Where does that put fellow striker Bartolo

  • Was literally about to say the same. It's gotta be 442 surely??

  • I really like that line up

  • wide midfield.

    Sads-Butcher-Bakinson-Bartolo

  • We aren't messing around with that lineup! I hope Sads only gets 45 though - we need him for Saturday!

I thought we concluded that the "Red Button" games on Sky Sport+ aren't available on a laptop/PC only via the app on a tablet or via your Sky TV?

You might find you can't watch from the dining room @micra, as you intend.

Please let me know if you can watch tonight's game on a laptop and how you do so, if successful.

  • John Joe O’Toole starts for Wimbledon. Suddenly this game means something.

  • BBC say 4-3-3 but what do they know?

  • John Joe O’Toole.

    Nominative determinism strikes again.

  • It could be Udoh behind Vokes in the 10, he looked good there chasing both league games.

  • I like that line up. Some first teamers to give Matt a selection headache some youth to show what they can do. Bench also looks exciting

  • Strong lineup! Looking forward to seeing Skura and Bartolo (who can play as a striker according to Udoh). Would be intrigued to see Dotse if he comes on too.

  • Oh yeah, I forgot ops!

  • great ball from J-Mac but nobody gambled

  • I'm surprised that this competition hasn't been moved to a pre-season tournament like the Scottish league cup, everything about it feels a bit pre-season at this point. Guess the PL U21 sides are all on far flung tours at that point though

  • You can tell there is a bit of awe in the Wimbledon crowd - they know they are playing the 23/24 runners up of this competition. This is their cup final!

  • lino's pulled his hamstring

  • six? seven? minutes for the fourth official and the lino to swap over...feels excessive

  • You can tell we have a good squad when these games are intriguing for the sake of seeing the players who get a long runout.

  • Jahiem Dotse is 17.

Should he play tonight he'll be our....3rd?? youngest player?

  • Tilley looks a decent player.
