I was nearer the front that day. The guy standing beside me asked why the celebration, as that goal meant playing Plymouth in the play-offs... (instead of Stevenage?)
I was in the far corner, I celebrated a great late winner while quite a few refused to because they were worried about Plymouth. I really don't understand people who think like that.
I wasn’t there but I recognise several people. At first glance I thought that was you, @EwanHoosaami in the grey sweatshirt.
I’m on nodding terms (from Woodland days) with the couple sitting right at the front - he’s wearing a cap and sunglasses - but I’ve no idea whether they are Gasroomers. I met them briefly at the Refund Waiver do but whether they still attend matches on a regular basis I don’t know. Halfway up, extreme left, hands clasped, is the venerable Harold Lunnon.
Well @micra, you should rely on your 1st glance more often.
@RuyLopez If you mean the older guy in the WWFC hoodie top, which I still have BTW, on the right. Alternatively the one on the left looks vaguely familiar to me, but my guess could be wrong? 🤷♂️
I can recognise a few familiar faces although not sure if it would be the right thing to do to mention their names.
Was Alfie's goal the one where we had a corner which wasn't cleared, dropped to him somewhere near the penalty spot, and he belted it, on the half-turn, into the top corner? Or is my old memory playing tricks...again?
The older guy (considerably older than you @EwanHoosaami) on the left should look familiar because he and his wife, Marion, have been stalwart supporters of the Wanderers and working tirelessly for the club for longer than I can remember. Sadly, I have not seen them for about four years.
Are you saying that the standout guy in the grey top is indeed your good self? I only ask because I can’t see the hood on this tiny iPhone screen. (Acknowledgement to @bookertease !) I realise that it was probably dangling neatly behind ‘you’.
I was just right of centre, arms aloft and my son, (considerably smaller then), can just be made out as his left arm is almost across my chest hand near the club badge. The hood part of the top isn't in view!
At the front of the second pic I'm fairly sure is a kid from my primary school who used to run around the playground pretending to be a lawnmower. I always wondered what became of him.

”Don’t worry, ‘bout a thing...”
I was in the home end
I was there but further across than that shot.
I was in the far corner. Was anyone on here outside up on the hill?

I suspect for some it would have been the fact that they wouldn’t have been able to get down to Plymouth for the game.
Was there but not in the shot.
Was slightly disappointed it was Plymoutu as I had an arrangement that clashed, whereas Stevenage would have been doable.
Worked out OK though

Elsewhere, arms aloft. Limbs galore!
There but not in shot
I was on the hill. Couldn’t get in, boy did I try. Quite a nice half time trip into McDonalds, mind.
The guy in the grey sweatshirt does look familiar.

There but not in the picture
I was there but, thankfully, out of shot!
I can recognise a few familiar faces although not sure if it would be the right thing to do to mention their names.

Just left of centre, with my son's arm across my face
Spotted myself and my dad down near the bottom right (both wearing scarves)
You can see the top of my ginger head. I was 5ft 2 those days…
I like the lady at bottom of pic who appears to be using 'The Force' to raise an X Wing from the Sixfields swamp
.
Oh, go on @NewburyWanderer. Don’t be shy!

Another crowd pic from that day; I'm in this one but not saying where.
I was there, but not in either photo.
I believe Mr (original) Gasman himself is in the first.
I was just right of centre, arms aloft and my son, (considerably smaller then), can just be made out as his left arm is almost across my chest hand near the club badge. The hood part of the top isn't in view!
Whos the bloke at the bottom to the right, with sunglasses on that seems to be asleep during all this ongoing carnage !?
Pan about a metre left and I’d be in that one

We had one who thought he was a motorbike. Nice lad, bit noisy though.
Was his name Peter by any chance?
‘Selling England By The Pound’. Track four ‘I know what I like’
"You can tell me by the way I walk"...
