I feel like Notts County have kind of served their penance in the Conf, although that said I feel the vaguest of allegiances to Boreham Wood since they typically feature at least one WW reject in the ranks (although not right now).
And then Jodi Jones - after god knows how many ACL injuries - goes and wins it in the last minute of extra time with his first Notts County goal. This end-of-season chaos is quite enjoyable as a neutral!
The National League North/South Finals take place this coming Sunday.
Oxford City v St Albans City (12:30)
Brackley Town v Kidderminster Harriers (15:30).
It's only a 30 minute drive between the two, but visiting both is not really on, especially if the first game goes to extra time. That is assuming you can get tickets for either, given how small the grounds are.
Oxford City beat Worthing 2-0 today, with Andre Burley and Josh Parker in the team. Brackley won 1-0 at Chester.
United missing out on CL owing to atrocious goalkeeping would be the most delicious karma possible after they messed up our early season over their 5th stringer.
Assuming he’s still in contract next season, we can look forward to welcoming the beloved Diving Danny Hilton to AP once more, as Northampton Town return to the dizzy heights of the third tier.
Not sure it’s a cert he’ll be retained though, given his whopping zero goal tally for the club.
Morecambe offer no contracts to any of their out of contract players (releasing Stockton amongst others) with 6 players signed on for next season and major ownership issues. Could be a tough season in League 2 for them.

yeeeeeess, but at the cost of Posh getting in there, can’t decide which is worse really.
Still, can’t see Posh getting through to the final.
As fitting a goodbye as you could hope for.
In other news, we're going to end up with a Boreham Wood vs Bromley playoff final aren't we
Notts equalise in the 97th minute
The bloke who's got both goals had never previously scored for them...
That is an astonishing statistic.
All action at Notts county, extra time, ref bottling penalties.
Boreham Wood denied a stonewall pen right at the death

I was born in St. Albans and always look out for their results. I would love to see them in the Conference again!
Some pretty unsavory scenes at the Deva stadium after the game.
Absolutely astonishing that United want to give De Gea a new contract

Late to the party but watching MOTD for the first time in years… Karl Robinson is Assistant Manager at Leeds????? Madness!
Just the six red cards at the end of Boca - River Plate.

Impact sub with zero impact.
I’m sure he will drop in to non league or retire.
Who knew? Apparently Northampton’s manager used to be on our books way back when, yet amassed an immense zero apps.

MIllwall and Blackburn cancelling each other out, Sunderland in the playoffs as it stands.
Great game at The Den. Won’t end 3-3.
You were right, Millwall have bottled it
Mansfield missing playoffs by one goal is pretty brutal, Blackburn fans might have an interesting walk back to Millwall station.
Maybe a good thing we avoided a Luton - Millwall play off semi.
I think a Sunderland V Boro final, won't be one the Met Police are relishing.
So a definite non-zero chance that Sunderland could go up...
See Leicester are still the gift that just keeps on giving,
Make Everton make sense
