I'm torn between an instant relegation tonight, or a Huddersfield loss tonight meaning one of those mad turns of fate and a big relegation special last day clash.
When I worked in the furniture industry, I worked alongside a few Italians. They informed me most of Wycombe's Italian community hail from Naples, and other Italians would refer to them as 'Neapolitian pig farmers'.
None of them seemed to follow Napoli though, it was all Juve or one of the Milan teams or Liverpool !!!!
It's very political the football scene in Italy. I used to get my hair cut at 'Quinto and Marios' as a lad. And watched South Korea v Belgium during Italia 90. Do you know who they support?
Young Mario is the same age as me, and I remember as a youth, he often wore a Maradona Argentina shirt. So he may have been a Napoli fan ???? I was a child in the 70's last time I had my hair cut in Mario & Quinto's. Amazingly working alongside the Italians in those days was Tony ( I used to always refer to him as ex England Cricketer Tony Greig, as I though he looked like him) he has the barbers on Dessie Rd, what used to be Ivermee's. He actually looks far more like Kevin Ellison than Mr Greig !!
Queen's Park play Dundee tonight in a winner-takes-all clash on the final night of the Scottish Championship. QP going for their third straight promotion, having turned pro in 2019 after 152 years as an amateur club. Game is live on the Beeb.
When I had my hair cut in Desborough Road, Mr Ivermee was, I think, the younger guy - and there was an older one called Mr Blamey (don't know their first names because back then, as a kid, they were always referred to as "Mr..."). The talk was always about WWFC...

I wrote the squad down on the back of a fag packet like I always do and you called them two up? What have you done?
Show me where it says Benson and Hedges on that packet
The Devs played an English University side this afternoon drawing 1-1

Didn't know he had such a big family!
Interesting... I wonder if any of the uni lads caught the eye.
FIfa attempting to claim misogyny beacuse they aren't getting the millions they expected for the Women's world cup.
Breathtaking
Has Infantino claimed to be a disenfranchised woman yet?
@StrongestTeam
I was thinking of this last Tuesday evening (25th April) whilst watching the Blackburn v Burnley game on the box. Brilliant joke imho.
Come on Huddersfield!

Udinese are 1 up against Napoli with half an hour to go - looks like another round of games before Napoli get crowned Serie A champions
This reminds me of when Napoli and maradona won the league. Apparently someone graffitied a cemetery 'you don't know what you missed'
Some other wag the next day had graffitied over it 'don't be so sure we did'
Huddersfield 1-0 up with their first shot on target in the 60th minute
Napoli have now equalised which gives them the title if it stays this way - cue limbs in Naples
Just reading about poor old Southend getting another winding up petition from HMRC,
FFS they are a basket case, it was only 2 months ago that they settled a £1.4m debt to HMRC to stop the previous winding up petition...

This is brilliant Wycombe knowledge.

Great drama in Naples
Well done Huddersfield, so that has confirmed the Terriers in the Championship for next year & Reading relegated...
Not many teams will win a top 5 league after making a profit on transfers the previous summer - fair play Napoli.
Hoping that The Biscuitmen play their epic official club anthem before kick-off:

From what I understand owner tookmout a loan with eye-watering interest so it was only a matter of time.
