Samaritans Score Prediction - Charlton (a)
No correct scores this week (unless you count Betfair) and a fairly static table at the top.
Welcome back to @Wendoverman (although coming back sees him slip into negative numbers!!)
Nine games left - still all to play for. Next up a tough game at Charlton.

Now why didn’t that surprise us. The old reverse psychology or something, isn’t it ?
My Charlton mate says their home form is dreadful. He asked me who to look out for, mentioning McCleary as one player in particular that he feared. He asked if we still had that old guy in goal ! I said his replacement was an absolute star and I remembered how impressed he’d been with Forino last time. I of course mentioned the problems we’ve had with injuries, to defenders in particular.
I told him to look out for number 29, our latest crash test dummy, and the outstanding midfield duo of Scowen and Wing. I added “oh, and we’ve got a lad on loan from Wolves who can be a bit of a handful”.
Í suddenly felt very confident. Super confident in the current lingo ! What do they say pride precedes ?
COYB !!
Post M*t P@l#c* that has genuinely been my expectation for most Wycombe games.
It is often an unexpected pleasure when my expectations are confounded.
Those are challenging hieroglyphics, @bookertease, but I’m old enough to remember that particular match. We’d probably scrape a win against them these days, unless their reputation for being very “physical” proved to be overpowering.
Forgot to mention earlier that me mate singled out Rak-Sakyi as their star player. Only 20 and is leading scorer (I think) with 11 goals in 30 odd games. On loan from Crystal Palace and clearly destined for the Premier League next season (assuming Palace survive - 8 (eight) clubs in the bottom half within 3 points of second bottom!) or possibly with another PL club, of course.
Rak-Sakyi plays wide right and is a right handful apparently. Hope JJ, if he plays, gets good support from fellow defenders. I expect Tafazolli will return to left of a back three. My fear would be an over-zealous tackle on the flying, goal-scoring winger.
I'm sure @bookertease will approve of my “bigging up” !!
Leaburn injured apparently.
