It's annoying because I can't find a betting site to give any odds on Bloomfield being named as Wycombe's next manager. I don't think that the odds wouldn't be too bad either to put a bet on and I'm not a betting man!
I'm going to be hated for saying this, but I'm not that fussed. I'd have been pretty happy to go down the completely fresh route, and get someone in from outside the club, don't go along with all this boot room stuff. Will obviously support Matty all the way though if he does come
Bloomfield has to be appointed not only doing the obligatory "holding the scarf" pose but ideally also sporting a "Col Who?" t-shirt in light and dark blue.
The Ainsworth era has been one of the most exciting in all my 50 years of supporting the blues and wish him and Dobbo all the best and hope QPR fans appreciate what a fantastic management team they have got.
I assumed that for many years but I now have it on the utmost authority that it was just Chelmsford and that they hate Colchester at least as much as we do.
I’m genuinely surprised that he feels that now is the right time. Will he survive long enough to reach his first transfer window? Will he have enough time to implement his style? It was years before he managed to weed out the bad eggs at this club and he won’t be afforded that time at QPR. Dare I say, one day he will be back here…just hope for his sake that it’s next season, both in the Championship, as otherwise it will mean he has another relegation on his CV.
On the flip side, I hope Blooms enjoyed his loan spell in Essex.

Another interesting scheduling wrinkle - QPR v Bristol City last day of the season. GA v Mehmeti.
He could be right this time...

Confirmation of GA to QPR will be at 5.
Club legend as manager? Renewed rivalry with Colchester?
I've already forgotten Gary Jobsworth or whatever his name is.

I don't think they've ever had to make a "new manager" gif. Last time we got a new manager it would have been announced on a zoetrope.
I’ve had this confirmed by a reliable source.
I was thinking back earlier today of when Peter Taylor was announced at the press conference. Seems so antiquated now, doesn't it?
Well it'll def make the Family Day a very confusing day. Saying good-bye to a loved Manager and hello to a club legend as their new manager
I genuinely have no idea

Make it happen, media team
'Col Who,' is the first thing thats made me smile for days. Thankyou @PBo
Also, might make contract signings easier at the end of the season if the players have a manager who they know v. well and can trust.
Bloomfield is a risk, but as much of a risk as someone who would come in, not really know the players and immediately put their own stamp on things.
Gareth out and Blooms in, or just Gareth?
I can confirm you are right (whether you knew it or not).
Maybe Gaz should have stipulated that QPR provide a departure announcement template, they must have a well used one kicking around.

I've got almost nothing done today waiting for some kind of announcement.
It's getting to the point where I'd almost be happy to see "GA & Dobbo leave" officially confirmed so it's over and done with!🤪
No word on the latter, at least that’s reached me.

And there’s the corner flag…
The extraordinary thing is that you'd basically have to sitting your GCSEs this summer to remember Wycombe Wanderers before GA.
Question is, will he be in a suit or in his normal leather jacket at his press conference?
😞
Leather jacket, I bet.
Genuinely don't recall ever seeing a Wycombe corner flag tweet
So what song lyrics could Wycombe post in response?
