I think the fact that we’re being charged Sky high prices for tickets, merchandise and food lulled some of us into thinking that was financing the squad.
Heard a comment that he wants to buy the club but the trust won't sell. Mark these words people, when Rob spunks all this money away on roads, and car parks and pitches and then runs up a massive debt he will get our stadium. We will have no choice. So the same as we had with Steve Hayes chose to get fcucked today or fcuked tomorrow either way we are getting fcuked.
Tickets are probably +20% in price, but we had loads of Tuesday night low attendances last season which will have entirely negated the pricing shift in my opinion.
Merchandise profit vs pre couhig trend might have given us an extra £100k across an entire season at best.
Food will almost certainly be making big losses as the volume sold is evidently very low - just look around at how few actually pay for food within AP. Linda probably outsells in volume at a ratio of threefold or more.
The playing budget has almost certainly doubled vs 2018/2019. If not more.
Reeks of unsustainable. No idea how others didn’t see it similarly.
Headline is share of club goes from 25% to 10% and is free of cash calls for 2 years. Lease on stadium goes to 50 years. Most other Trust rights remain.
In return Couhigs pay for car parks, roads and pitch relaying
Plan to seek external funding for medium term plans such as grants, EPL infrastructure payments.
He'll absolutely end up with all of it, for the money he's putting in, not sure I mind that except ... should he even sharky style want to walk away for free will there be massive debt we have to take on or would we be bankrupt first?
Like many others I couldn’t get in the meeting, but my fundamental question would be what happens to the club if (as seems pretty likely) we never get back into the Championship?
Gambling the club’s future on something unlikely is beyond reckless. Maybe the Couhigs were fooled into thinking it was easy, and that we genuinely weren’t little Wycombe.
I feel so stupid now. I was all alone in the bottom half of the league and he came along with his New Orleans charm and his Make Ainsworth Great Again cap and I just fell for his dream. His dream of us being together forever or at least until he doubled his money.
Hard to tell with the losses as it didn’t sound like a season, perhaps financial year.
The cost to the trust is giving up 15% of the club and giving a 50 year lease on the stadium. We could be reducing our rent from 100k a year to 20k a year only to the Couhigs, not future owners but I couldn’t hear that but very well.
Trust and Rob look for external finance for some of the future spend, but the only asset on offer as security appears to be the ground, The club lost £3m last year and are set to do that again this year. For those that were listening is that a correct synopsis?

Like so many clubs that we have scoffed at down the years we rolled the dice and lost. Trouble is it looks like we had one roll.
Still waiting.
Anyone else having the same issue?
If you're losing £3m a year+, getting 7 will only leave £3.5+
At least we didn't splurge a load of money on fireworks

Looks like trust need to stump up 1.3 million in the next 2 years!
Ultimately we can't guarantee championship so all this spend may not increase the income to ever get us to break even.
Has RC been taking lessons from Mel Morris by any chance?

Brilliant. It looks as if it’s all gone up in smoke mate.

I’ve given up trying to get in now.
Everything that’s coming out of the meeting sounds incredibly worrying and Hayes 2.0.
How did we end up back here?
They're only talking a loss of 3m last year and this year.
We don't know how much of that supposed 7m was actually left after expenses either.
I suppose we all assumed we were "fine" for a few years after the championship year.
He'll absolutely end up with all of it, for the money he's putting in, not sure I mind that except ... should he even sharky style want to walk away for free will there be massive debt we have to take on or would we be bankrupt first?
Because lower league clubs are like those poor women who meet conmen online and give their heart and bank account to them.
And how do we know Couhigs can pay for anything?
They have fundamentally failed to deliver the main premise of the mandate given to them.
As anyone asked if we got money from Derby?
Re the expected 3m loss - Are we talking April 22-April 23 financial year? Or calendar year 2022? Or season 22-23?
Missed all this, what do they want for it all? What do the Trust need to guarantee?
what if we never make it to the Championship again or , god forbid, got relegated to League 2?

Sorry to hear about Barry’s iPad’s medical issues! Strong Handsworth Parish Council vibes.
Live update, some fella talking about his scan. Strange Hybrid of Dad’s Army and Vicar of Dibley, and someone with wind, genuinely, priceless!
We’re going to pay a million to relay the pitch this summer!
Road costs estimated at 1.2m and they expect to start building within a year. That is hugely optimistic given our planning laws.
No wonder the Couhigs have been quiet of late. I feel totally betrayed.
