Re: The manager post Matty Bloomfield?
This is probably the best club in the world Anders.
Yeh but did you know Magnus that J Jacobson invented Carlsberg and played for Wycombe!
Re: The manager post Matty Bloomfield?
"If they ask anything about Wycombe just shift the question to playing in England"
Re: The manager post Matty Bloomfield?
Reminded me of the time Jason Cousins played in goal in a 6 a side game at John Hampden as punishment for one of his red cards!
I'd go the Brentford assistant. But I wouldn't put more than 1p on it.
Re: Other Football
Just a word about McClean tonight, as I've often posted a bit of dislike for him.
But thought he handled a lot of abuse well tonight, smiling it off. Even at one stage where a massive steward had to literally form a physical barrier cm from him trying to take a throw in to stop people chucking stuff. Whilst a couple of other stewards had to stop a couple of shimmering apes trying to get at him.
He literally barely had room to take the throw in the steward was so close, but he clearly recognised the risk of the situation that close to their fans, so got it done and got out of there quick!
Re: Other Football
My heart will always want him back.... but my head tells me he wouldn't suit our current set up and way we want to play.
He came in at the right time and probably got out at the right time. He will forever be our hero for saving us from non league obscurity and getting us into the Championship for the 1st time in our history. Forever a Wycombe legend.
I wouldn’t want to taint that for him.....or for us.
Right now I'm happy watching him mastermind the Shrews away from relegation.
Never say never.... but right now we need someone.... but not Gaz.
Re: Other Football
Still a lot of work to be done but some brilliant wins.
More of the same when they play Huddersfield please assuming that's re-arranged for a soon date.
Re: Other Football
I really do think that Wrexham will not be in the top two and Huddersfield pose more of a threat to us than they do. Wrexham have climbed the leagues below with McClean, Mullin and Fletcher, who are all aging players and past their best.
