When a managed search goes on this long it’s pretty obvious we haven’t got our first choice. Maybe even our second choice. Which should make us even more thankful for Sam Grace and Sam Vokes.

That would be a bit uninspiring for me, a bit old school and, I would imagine, the new set-up at most clubs would not suit some of the older guard.
Having said that, if we are going down the get promotion, sacked after ten games next season route...

Maybe they weren’t actually choices but simply disappointed during interview/s. None of us will know but I would much rather take our time and get the right person. There is no rush.

Yes those three were not really that good but Potts, Taylor and Lonwijk were excellent.

Think that’s a case of putting a positive spin on it as they had already been turned down by at least one candidate within 10 days of Bloomfield exit.

Oh my goodness. Rob is hanging on to the training ground despite being paid back further causing other talks to break down.
The man left us to retire to a quiet life and less than a year later has somehow got himself neck deep in an international lawsuit against a Chinese national with one of our local rivals caught in the middle. What on earth is he thinking?
