Re: Attendance Prediction - Birmingham City (a) - Sat 1st March '25 - Match 33 in 24/25
At the time, 14,305 was the highest league gate the Chairboys had ever played in front of, 10 days after the previous highest, 13,334 at Huddersfield.
Re: Cricket thread
Whilst I also agree, I’d argue Buttler isn’t the biggest problem. At least 4 of that side are not good enough for international cricket - Salt, Livingstone, Overton, Wood (in ODIs). Smith at 3 is baffling as well. And the bowling attack is entirely right arm fast, plus Adil Rashid - need some variety in there for sure.
Re: Cricket thread
Yes, agree with @mooneyman
Joss Buttler needs to concentrate on his batting. Being captain and wicket keeper as well was always too much and he has given up the gloves already.
Re: Cricket thread
Such a disappointment, both today and on Saturday. Had control of the game at various points but never really pushed on and let the opposition back into the game. Middle overs a particular issue. White ball side of things needs some serious work

Re: Other Football
Brings back memories of when we had the delightful Wasps "partnership".
We increased the staff ready for the next division. Didn't sound mad at the time, but then "don't worry about the money" didn't either.
Then years later they declared the whole Wasps partnership profit "neutral" and really struggled to work out where one club started and one ended staff wise.

Re: Other Football
I get stopping Sir Arex and David Gill getting millions, scaling down the operation down in Kensington and clearing house amongst the recruitment team responsible for the expensive shambles of a squad... and even getting rid of permanent stewards for freelancers, but seeing as he gave Ten Hag a lucrative new contract and then had to pay him up and paid to recruit Dan Ashworth and then had to pay him up, closing the staff canteen for the people left behind the scenes seems pointless penny pinching to me.
Re: Trust Meeting 27/02 - Dan Rice update and Q&A
Yep, the meeting takes place tomorrow.
Hope that helps @Brownie

It is a shame that the game has not been put back 24 hours, to avoid the clash with the Rotherham game. There may be a good reason for that, it has already been rearranged once, but the clash will affect the attendance. A dilemma for me.
Re: Other Football
Get out Hollywood. Last couple of pens from Peterborough were magnificent.
