Re: Match Day Thread: Crawley
We didn't win a game. This will keep happening when we don't win games.
If we did blow out of even the playoffs, the fury will not be a pretty thing.

Re: Match Day Thread: Crawley
Can someone point me to the Brexit thread...I've just thought of something I should have said...
Re: Match Day Thread: Crawley
You honestly think they forced him out with absolutely no clue as to with who was to replace him ? come on I just don't buy it . Because Mr Luton "felt" like he was being pushed out does not mean he actually was . We will likely never actually know tbf . I do not regard internal rumours from a signed up member of Gang Bloomfield as any kind of reliable evidence . What I do consider interesting is how the players seemed completely uneffected by the "ousting" of the manager who bought them all in and was so close to them . It is almost unthinkable that they would continute to be in such fine fettle despite the unjust banishment . We as a fan base seem to have a habit of putting our managers on such a high pedistal we really do . Sure there was an issue between Rice and Bloomfiled but do not underestimate Bloomfields ambition . Having watched a few of his post match interviews you would indeed think he was Mr Luton the way he blows smoke up the arses of thier fanbase . It is the way he is .

Re: Other Football
Garry Monk gets the boot at Cambridge.
Terrible timing from the board - there was never really any evidence this season that he had what it took to keep them up, so surely if you’re going to get rid of someone, do it before January and give the new guy the leeway to ship out players and bring in reinforcements?

Re: Match Day Thread: Crawley
There are very, very few Gasroom posts that have actually achieved anything so it seems a strange bar to put in place on this topic

Re: New signings - what is their fitness like?
It is a ridiculous figure for a ‘fourth choice’ league one centre back

Re: Match Day Thread: Crawley
people still bring up many things from the past all the time,
Yes, but that tends to be old man nostalgia. It would be downright odd if anybody started saying MO'N would have done things differently yesterday. Bloomfield is a fresh page in the history book and we should move on and focus on whether hugging people is a sign of a complete loser.
Re: Match Day Thread: Crawley
Very strange logic. Should we not debate anything about Wycombe unless we can do something about it? Team selection? Ownership changes? Manager hires?
My post is hardly attacking anyone, too. I also explained the present relevance of what having these types of people running the club. We talked about the Couhigs all through their tenure. Why would the new owners be exempt? They own us right now, as I write this - is their character irrelevant to the club? Not worthy of debate?
I actually think bringing it up (myself and others) actually has "done something about it", as it has provided counterpoint to the narrative of Blooms betraying the club.

Re: Match Day Thread: Crawley
Rather than say we will never know, it would much more honest just to say you don't know. Insisting that others don't know because you don't, is illogical.
