Re: Mike Dodds
in the light of @Wycombe85’s comment at 11.04 and @Jonny’s earlier difficulty in deciding whether I could be serious or not, I’ve reposted my comment on the Mike Basset/Dave Dodds 30 second clip in order to assure everyone that I have seen no video clips of the real Mike Dodds and to disclaim all responsibility for having unintentionally misled them.
I normally only have to explain myself on Facebook where humour tends to be in short supply.
Re: Mike Dodds
I actually feel that being in charge of the first team at the top of league 1 for the games he’s had (and done really well) will actually enhance his profile in player development.
He has real world ‘head coach / manager’ experience will add more gravitas to who he is as a coach when working with the current young lads / attracting more development players into the club.
Re: Mike Dodds
Took this from a Sunderland fan video. The question is a different scale to the answer so I’m actually left none the wiser on what the majority opinion was.
Re: Match Day Thread: Cambridge
It’s a nonsense penalty to give and a ridiculous red card. It is pretty easy to stand behind someone and walk into a raised arm, you can see them and they can’t see you, moreover they are distracted by their attempt to win the ball - that doesn’t make it a foul.

You are no doubt more knowledgeable than me @railwaysteve but I believe Cambridge more or less sell out their home seating allocation most games. Giving away supporters more seats would in that case mean less for home supporters especially young home supporters that they seem keen to attract as investments in the future. Given the choice, hard to argue fairly that they are wrong to prioritise their own.
Re: Match Day Thread: Cambridge
That’s not a tell tale sign. That’s not wanting to get into further trouble. What can he do? Meantime his team mates all went fucking mental.
Re: Match Day Thread: Cambridge
Talking of crowd songs can I make a plea for no more intra-game choruses of "we are top of the league", "we're Wycombe Wanderers, we're top of the league" etc?
Just tempts fate and seems to always come back to bite us

That’s 50 odd tickets down of full capacity too.
Great turn out though
