Re: New Manager Rumour Mill
I mean I know he is used to working for shadowy rich people, but when your new manager leaves his team in a relegation battle in the Saudi League, it's not a great look.
I did not realise Holden and Beale had also been there with him.
'...a chance to experience another culture...' my arse.
No marquee big name former England players who struggle to manage please, Lommy.
Re: Required points for promotion.
FWIW, I like to do a list of predictions for Wycombe’s remaining games just after Christmas, trying to be as unbiased and realistic as possible. I had us down for W10 D5 L5 before we played Charlton (A) which would mean a final total of 86 points.

And who could forget Steve McGavin having his regular sit down lunch at The Tuck-In fish and chip shop, while Miquel Desouza peered at the lingerie in the window of Feathers?
Although that might have just been some old rubbish in The Adams Family.
Re: Random sightings of our players outside of football
His recent episode of Stick to Football (other podcasts run by aging footballers are available) is excellent.
Re: Team Photos on the Chairboys Archive Site
this was the golden period when Alan Smith wore a hard hat and small shorts while monitoring his troops. Wistful, haunting memories.
Re: Random sightings of our players outside of football
Did you give him your card in case he gets done for parking in HK!
Re: Random sightings of our players outside of football
Saw Martin Taylor at his pub the bubble inn , in Elms that he owns.
Was lovely, as my first Wycombe game was his first, and I was always behind the goal with my dad, he would often say hello for warm up.
Really nice man, said he remembered, and great pub too!
