Re: Matt Bloomfield to Luton?
It’s interesting that recently he mentioned how hurt he’d been by the reaction at Leyton Orient last season. I thought it was a strange comment to make at the time, but hindsight makes everything clearer.

Come gather ‘round people wherever you roam, and admit that the waters around you have grown.
Re: Matt Bloomfield to Luton?
The video on the Luton page is very enlightening too.
Blooms says that he wasn't go to leave Wycombe for anything but that it had to feel right.
It seems like Luton have really sold themselves to him.

"I thought you was dead!"
That's the one.
Apt for @marlowchairs first post since 2019 - must be a big news day!
Re: Match Day Thread: Beaconsfield (Berks & Bucks Senior Cup)
I'm going. Note that, to get to the road alongside the club, from Beaconsfield or HW/M40, you turn left into Services, go right round the roundabout, back to the A355 and turn right at the lights, and then immediately left.
Re: Matt Bloomfield to Luton?
Is that from the clip where he discovers his old teacher he thought was dead is still alive and kicking?
Re: Matt Bloomfield to Luton?
“In the meantime, Sam Grace, Harry Hudson, Matty Dye and Jerome John will oversee training and manage upcoming fixtures.”
I wonder who’s picking the team….and whether it’s any of them.
Re: Matt Bloomfield to Luton?
Sadly there are some doing exactly that. An earlier comment suggested that loyalty doesn't exist in football outside the fans. I'd disagree. I think loyalty is lacking in many fans too. Many show a distinct lack of loyalty at times towards managers in particular, no matter what they may have achieved at the club previously. Matt was getting abuse after daring to lose a game on New Years Day, having taken us to 2nd in the league, when no-one was expecting that at the start of the season. Honestly, some of the cretins that follow us (and yes, every club has them) don't deserve success.
Life and the club of course go on, but it's a sad day. While I am not generally fond of Luton, I hope he does well there and anywhere else he is manager in future. Anyone with a bit of class should feel the same considering what he has given our club.
