I don’t think that’s fair, as the legend of Dave Tarpey could only be the greater for the fact of never actually having played for us.

Could well be, unlikely a player of his quality got no offers while on a free , probably settled for less £ than he was asking for 6 months ago.

Looks really good though, wonder if he's played much in midfield, his set pieces and crossing should up the quality in training, both have been lacking a bit recently.

Comes over very well in the interview on Wanderers TV. Am I reading too much into his comments about "sometimes these things take time going backwards and forward" suggesting this was a deal we've been working on for a while?
