Re: Required points for promotion.
Or was it Peter Taylor? A 2-1 loss at home to Notts County saw us squeeze over the line on GD, after we'd had that superb unbeaten run to start the season. The most anticlimactic promotion ever.
Re: Rumour Mill
If I was Dan, I’d be like…
“Given current market conditions and movements in League 1, with Stansfield in particular costing £15m, taking into account where we rate Kone compared to Stansfield and his peers, and our push to the Championship and revenues linked to that, the pivotal role and performances he has played, and the substantial investment we have put into Richard from a development angle, the club will not accept any more bids from yourselves below £20m excluding add-ons. Now f*ck off you absolute sausages”.
*I don’t know Dan, so I don’t know 100%, but I doubt he’d use the word sausages 😁
Re: Random sightings of our players outside of football
ah. I see what I've done there. The Crawley result was not the same day as the Chesterfield game. As you were

Re: Caleb Taylor returns until end of season..... Discuss
Leahy can’t play wing back and we’ve also just signed James Berry and Sadlier will be back. One day.
Re: Rumour Mill
Gaz loved a former player, but I'm minded to agree - I don't think he'd have done this.
Re: Rumour Mill
@TheDancingYak when you say ‘everything is not black and white’, what about penguins? Zebra crossings are black and white too. Everton mints … clearly some things are black and white.
Re: Rumour Mill
Matt Bloomfield has only one priority and that is to do the best job he can for Luton Town. If that involves attempting to sign a Wycombe player so be it. Matt Bloomfield owes us absolutely nothing and to suggest otherwise is insulting to him.
Re: Rumour Mill
Would Gareth Ainsworth do this? Highly doubt it. Disagree wholeheartedly with this. Bloomfield owes us basic respect and dignity - he’s lacking in that with a fourth (!) bid.
Re: Rumour Mill
That should be a terrace chant:
I am an architect, they call me Matt Butcher
