From talking to JJ last season, he sees himself more business operational management not football management. The Reading post that was lined up for him with Rob was ideal (still might happen)

Hanlan’s main attribute used to be somehow coming away with the ball when ricocheting off a defender. I don’t mean that in a derogatory way as he had a real knack for it.

His best spell was on the wing when we had Anis and Vokes tying up defenders. He scored some real crackers cutting in and hitting the top corner.

As a number 9 I just don’t see it. His first touch isn’t good enough.
