Come on gasroom. I'd have at least thought @Wendoverman or @Kim_il_Swan would have pounced on this one with some sort of cheeky comment along the lines of "i hope Mr Rice doesn't just appoint someone cos he knows them and thinks they're a mint geezer" 😃

I can’t see why anyone should want to email Dan Rice about a manager leaving a club to take up an opportunity at a club higher up the food chain.

I think one poster mentioned it. Not exactly ‘talk’.

I won't start worrying until the owner, whether himself or through Mr Rice utters the immortal words..."Don't worry about the money."

Schumacher is a great choice (why I voted for him), he's a young-un at 40, learnt his trade at Everton, then Bury & worked wonders at Plymouth to get them to the Championship, he moved to Stoke & kept them up, but as is ever the way in the cutthroat world of Stoke they chose to sack him after 2 wins out of 5 at the start of his second season.

RC did say we'd have the best entertainment in the league, but he said a lot of things, she's getting on a bit now but aren't we all?

Have any of these managers got experience of coming in mid-season at clubs who have had a superb start to the season but just hit a slight lull (4wins out of 10ish sort of fare) and going great guns?

Or is that too specific?
