It must be exhausting being absolutely correct 100 percent of the time, no matter what
Re: Match Day Thread: Blackpool
Even before we were down to ten men did we have a shot on target? Other than Joe Low's horror miss (which may well have been offside) I'm not sure we had a shot at all. Putting Hartridge's sending off to one side, we have really struggled this winter period against teams that harry us and close us down quickly. Combined with our wide forwards once again not being on form, I think we are very fortunate to still be vying at the top of the table. I don't want to go full @glasshalfempty here but I'm not sure that any team should fear us at the moment. Other than Kone's magic and some moments of creativity from Humphreys, we're not looking much better than high mid-table at the moment. Time for a Plan B, Matty?
Re: Match Day Thread: Blackpool
Really scrappy all round, shape lost, solutions haven't worked for various reasons, and an awful ref. Not the worst point ever but will be a long month and rest of the season if we can't do some business.
Re: Match Day Thread: Blackpool
To be fair, I tipped Sadlier for player of the season if he stayed healthy before the season, so it's not recency bias to say we need him!
Re: Match Day Thread: Blackpool
Just came on to say this ! He was easily our best player today... so why sacrifice him after the sending off ? He had done more in the first half than Fred and Gmac have In the last few games
Re: Match Day Thread: Blackpool
Low's miss at the start of the half now seems very costly, but he was immense at the back as always. Hartridge should never play for us again
