Re: Matt Bloomfield to Luton?
Whilst Phil has incredible talent and could commentate well on any team, it’s his deep knowledge as a lifetime Wycombe fan that really allows him to shine here.
Phil really is part of the fabric of the club. One of the best decisions the Couhigs made was to bring him on board.
Re: Matt Bloomfield to Luton?
Lure of Luton.
I wonder if that phrase has ever been used before in the history of words.
Re: Mikheil Lomtadze
Genuine question.
Has anyone seen our owner at Adams Park in the nine months since he took over.
Re: Matt Bloomfield to Luton?
We’ve had some amazing years and the Couhigs were just what we needed when things looked very bleak.
Rob made his money and left but quickly came back 20 miles over the fields when he saw more money to be made.
Pete gave up a lot to stay in the UK for a long period and I genuinely think he loves the club and the culture of good people. I enjoy hearing or seeing him at games since his Uncle sold, that says a lot.
Re: Matt Bloomfield to Luton?
Yes Neil gone about a month back. Kept everything going behind the scenes working 24/7. Had a good relationship with Rob.
Re: Matt Bloomfield to Luton?
I got a feeling this lot will be worse than prime Hayes in the long run. Let’s see where the new stadium gets built in a few years.
Doctor/Physio - removed
Scott Mitchell - removed
Matt B/Lee H/Rich T/Ben - left
Neil Peters - has he gone, can’t see him listed on website. Had read he’s left the building on here a few weeks back. Happy to be corrected.
Who’s next?
Quite clear to me they want to clear the decks and couldn’t possibly do it whilst we were over achieving. They’ve made life as difficult as possible until they’ve decided to walk. Probably taken away all the little perks they’d built up, micro managed, taken decisions without consultation etc, etc. Most of us would have seen it elsewhere in our day to day jobs.
They may bring success on the pitch but they are not great custodians of this wonderful football club IMHO.
When you have the likes of Neil and MB walking away after the years of service they’ve given something doesn’t feel right.
These types of people don’t tend to walk away.
Re: FA Cup 4th Round Draw
and that 2001-01 cup run also started away at a non league team.
We couldn't do it again, could we?
Re: Matt Bloomfield to Luton?
(With Linda McCartney mince in my case although I understand that’s not everyone’s cup of tea)
Re: Match Day Thread: Beaconsfield (Berks & Bucks Senior Cup)
He's the one sat next to Christian Erikson
