Re: Matt Bloomfield to Luton?
Yeah I'm not sure he's watching every kick of the ball on Wycombe tv or whatever it's called now.
Re: Matt Bloomfield to Luton?
He chose to stay in High Wycombe rather than be with his family during lockdown. That’s pretty significant.
Re: Matt Bloomfield to Luton?
Now tell them that all the players and management have to be Danish....
Re: The manager post Matty Bloomfield?
Just driven up Hillbottom Road and followed two Ginsters vans heading into AP. If they're delivering pies, it could well be Rooney.
Re: Matt Bloomfield to Luton?
Compare Rob’s comments in this to the club statement today. It might all be hot air but it’s important hot air.

Re: Matt Bloomfield to Luton?
Several things can be true at once:
Some Gasroomers have inside knowledge, and the vibe from them hasn't been good.
Some Gasroomers don't, but like to pretend they do.
Some people don't like Rice etc and are happy to believe, and pass on, anything that puts them in a bad light.
I know which posters i'd put in which category. Other opinions are available.
The least unlikely scenario to draw from the public information is that the non-signing of Morley swiftly followed by at least one, probably two, record signings felt like a final straw for Blooms.
Another not unlikely scenario is that Blooms is an ambitious man in a cut throat business and knows this is his window of opportunity. Maybe Luton isn't the first job he's applied for this season. He's wise enough to know that 'three and a half years,' at Luton can quickly turn into three and a half months but maybe that represents more job security than he had here. I would imagine that when Luton met his release clause over the weekend there simply wasn't enough will on either side to keep working together.
