And new owners have their own ideas of how they want to run the club (which they have every right to do of course) and those plans don't include the current manager (if they did he'd have been given a contract extension months ago)

Of course it needn't be disastrous for them. Football fans are very fickle, and if they bring in their own man and they elevate the team yet further then fans will soon fall into line. If it goes the other way it could get quite bad quite quickly.

Yep, that article was naughtily worded.

It could have just been the writer putting his own judgement on the "he'd be interested, Wycombe won't stop him" thing.

But because he's not said so, he's left it open, leading to conspiracies that our club have actually stated that, or that Bloomy/agent have leaked this, or that the new club have leaked it.

Very naughty stuff.

This is the sort of nonsense we'll have to get used to as we move up the chain.

How does this "clearly seem to be the case"?
