Re: The State of Play...
"Conceding the title" then becomes a dangerous game of "worrying about what Wrexham are doing". Whilst unrealistic, I'd go all out to win the title and then we can't have any complaints if we don't make it.
There are still 42 points up for grabs and we are conceding the title? Not for me. Anything can happen.

Ooh I love a Tunnock’s.
Also a well run academy and reassurance that the first team is a priority alongside said well-run academy,

Re: Match Day Thread: Wigan
I’d love an open day at Harlington hosted by Phil and Sam Grace, maybe the next International weekend when we might not play Huddersfield.
Open it up to 210 people paying £50 each with the money going to the Wycombe Wanderers Foundation.
You could have 7 hour slots through the day with 30 a time.

Re: The State of Play...
Heart says draw, but head says Brum win with a few cards thrown in too.
Re: The State of Play...
My personal opinion is that we haven’t learned to deal with teams that park the bus against us, because that has simply never really been what teams did against us. Bristol tried it, but just weren’t very good. Wigan were another story.
The fact of the matter is we have some very tough games ahead, and the way our defence is operating, I’m actually looking forward to being attacked and hitting on the break. These games against Brum, Leyton, Wrexham, Huddersfield, are going to be games of attrition as much as anything. Our fitness seems immense.
I firmly believe the more open the game, we will capitalise, we have far too much talent, pace and squad depth not too.
We seemed stuck for ideas against Wigan and Dodds will clearly address that over the coming weeks, which he alluded to in his interview post-Wigan.
This Saturday should be the first of those games, although having said that, Birmingham have picked up quite a few injuries so I do wonder how aggressive they will be against us, but nevertheless, whilst that free flowing football pre-November may never return (Stockport was still one of my favourite Wycombe games ever) I genuinely believe we are a better team under present mentality when the game is taken to us.
That, or we learn to continue with that almost guaranteed ten mins of pressure we put on against every team at the start. Could have been 2-0 up against Wigan.

Re: Match Day Thread: Wigan
Thanks for the info.
I would still find it interesting to be taken on a tour, especially by well respected club employees.
It would be great to see where all this development/spend is going for the academy and where the club see Harlington fitting in to this in 5-10 years.

Re: Loan watch
Jack Young was one of the scorers in Dorking's 5-1 home win against Merstham tonight, in the Surrey Senior Cup.
Re: Promotion Race Updates Thread
Much more interested in Wrexham going to extra time tomorrow night before their 12.30pm KO on Saturday. We need them to drop points more than we need to score points against BCFC.
