Two brilliant results for us tonight and two sides doing us a favour who perhaps aren’t our biggest fans - Bristol Rovers and Reading, who would have thought we would be cheering them both on!

A word for the ref…I thought he had a decent game and got most things right, including the decision to show a yellow card (second yellow) for time wasting. Wrexham looked really ordinary and it’s still painful that they beat us at the start of the season, when they were just as ordinary.

I remember arriving at the ground an hour before kick off and being faced with a queue snaking its way around the car park to the turnstiles. Eventually got in but missed the first 20 minutes. Wasn’t a . great game if I remember correctly but Scotty’s goal was enough. Amazing to think Slough were 2nd in the conference and closing the gap on us until that game. If we’d have lost wouldn’t the gap have reduced to just 3 points?

Also , the away end was given over to home fans, and Slough brought about 20 fans sat at the end of the Main Stand.

I’m happy with our remaining fixtures as it means we have a say in the results of the teams chasing us. If we want to go up, we have to beat them. It’s that simple.
