Re: Match Day Thread: Bolton
I'm a content writer. I make mistakes and some of them end up getting published, which is inevitable with a lack of dedicated subbing and quick turnaround times, but there's a vast difference between good writing with the odd error and writing that's just crap in general.
Re: Match Day Thread: Bolton
I work in PR. A lot of national papers also aren't subbed.
Nonetheless, it's hard to fathom how someone gets this so wrong. I can't work out what they were even trying to say.
Re: Other Football
Went to Barnsley vs Orient today. Barnsley were absolutely shocking.
No Game plan, not more than 50% of the crowd left in the ground with 15 minutes to go.
I’d be surprised if Darrell lasts the weekend…
Re: Match Day Thread: Bolton
I do find it amusing that the people who seem most put out by it seem to be the only ones who read it
Re: Match Day Thread: Bolton
But it's not just mistakes; it's a consistently awful command of the English language. There was a headline the other week about the storm 'reeking' havoc. It's embarrassing.
Re: Aaron Morley
Aaron Morley and Bolton have made a commitment for him to play at Wycombe until May. They have a break clause. I don’t think there is anything wrong with a FIFA rule that says he can’t play for multiple clubs in the same season.
Re: Reading offer Bearwood training ground to Wycombe
i really hope they survive in some form or another if just for the sake of the loyal fans and @theRoyalBiscuit whom has kept us informed and a decent poster on here. I really fear for the future though with that owner, I really don't get it though. What does he hope to gain by dragging this on and on? Surely he is devaluing the asset even further down the tubes?
