Re: Matt Bloomfield to Luton?
If he goes to Luton it will be a sad day. All Luton gags aside, they have a new 25,0000 seat stadium approved to be built in the centre of town and a depressingly large supporter base. Here in Bedfordshire they are seen as the county’s team.
i can see the appeal for him. MB sign him up long-term and convince us he and Dan are besties.
Re: Matt Bloomfield to Luton?
Most likely one so far out of those he's been linked with (Coventry and Millwall) imo.
Re: Matt Bloomfield to Luton?
As one of the 93%, I am well aware of Ms Sweeney. I am also well aware that it is doubtful we will ever be photographed strolling down the front at Cannes or sharing a laugh at a table outside our favourite Californian eatery.
(Because it has probably burnt down)
Re: Matt Bloomfield to Luton?
Some 'interesting' claims in that article...
"Wycombe Wanderers open to Matt Bloomfield exit if Luton Town come calling
Football League World sources have confirmed Wycombe's stance on Bloomfield's immediate future, which may come as a surprise to some. That's because FLW can exclusively reveal the promotion-chasing side are open to letting him leave if he's offered the job at Luton.
The Hatters, of course, are now on the search for a new manager after parting ways with Rob Edwards by mutual consent, a development which was first reported by FLW.
FLW has also learned Bloomfield has a £100,000 release clause in his current Wycombe contract, which was first signed in February 2023. Whether Luton decide to activate that remains to be seen, for the time being.
Re: Matt Bloomfield to Luton?
Do you think Jack Price (author) has made that article up? Who do you think the source is regarding a £100,000 release clause?
Do you think Pete O'Rourke (author) made up the article about Scott Mitchell's sacking?
Do you think the tweets from Danny Bloomfield and the shouty Ice Cream man™ are just random?
There is clearly information being drip-feed into the media (both conventional and social) which when collated does not feel coincidental. It raises questions about the ongoing relationship between Chief Football Officer Dan Rice and Men's First-Team manager Matt Bloomfield.
Re: Match Day Thread: Portsmouth (FA CUP)
I’m having too many capital pees this weather, night and day but especially night.
Re: Squad strength - January 2025 transfer window
I know a 61 year old runner who posts videos of him taking ice baths dressed just in his pants, so you'd have some way to go to match that!
