Difficult to think of another signing we’ve ever made like this. Certainly feels a bit Brave New World as others have mentioned.

It’s a bit weird paying a record transfer fee and not even disclosing the paying of an undisclosed fee.

Looking forward to seeing him in the famous quarters.

I’m guessing Danny Imray will want to play for Bromley in their F.A. Cup third round tie at Newcastle United and might explain any delay there.

Reservations, he is a proven CB at a level well above League 1 with Europa League experience. I am over the moon with this signing and just imagine if we can get Morley or a Morley clone and Imray in at right back, then we will be really flying.

Good job we don't have Montague Withnail as manager as he will never play The Dane.

Not sure the data model would support that - or would even have supported that when we did sign him.

Which is why I share @DevC’s apparent reservations about that statement.

Having said that, this does look on paper (I know…) to be a forward-looking and ambitious move by the club.

Interesting times indeed and evidence that we have very much moved into a new and uncharted era with the first team squad.

If this is a taste of things to come, however this season eventually pans out I don’t think we can be seen as a low budget club at League 1 level any more.
