Re: Samaritans Score Prediction - Crawley (a) and Bristol Rovers (h)
In my humble opinion, the loss of Morley has probably contributed to the reduction in goals since he left.
Re: FT article on League One transfer fees
A few sandwiches to the right decision maker and it'd be "didn't this land used to be fields" in seconds.

Re: FT article on League One transfer fees
I would suggest even if we only got a slight rise in home attendance and bigger away attendances, it might do us quite nicely @PBo depending on the ambition of our owner and our fanbase. If we cannot dream of bigger crowds and hope for progression...there seems little point to the whole exercise.
Re: FT article on League One transfer fees
The most likely outcome could be the redevelopment of AP. The idea of taking over the industrial estate has legs in my opinion. Not the more modern premises on Hillbottom Road but the south side which are mainly old small industrial units. Relocating those smaller businesses may be easier and it would free up a fairly large area for parking

Re: Ringing The Blues
I've just sat and watched this episode.
Can I recommend that as many Gasroomers as possible give a look / listen to hear Phil C's chat with Phil Maunder-Walker. His story / outlook is remarkable and I for one will be looking out for his book, once it is available
Re: FT article on League One transfer fees
@JockyMcsporrans Burnham. They play at Burnham, where the facilities and the food are great, even if the car park is a bit of a minefield. A cursory look at @Steve_Peart's excellent weekly posts on this would have told you.
Re: FT article on League One transfer fees
My aging brain might be failing me but wasn't one of the many issues with having Wasps at Adams Park that we (Wanderers) only made money out of the deal if they drew crowds over 6,000 regularly and they rarely did, so we ended up losing money on the deal.
Re: Other Football
It just seems to be creeping in all this celebration police business.
"They celebrated like they'd won the world cup". See these sort of comments about one game or another each week these days.
You should be able to strongly celebrate a late winner whether it's against Man City, or some chumps from the Wycombe combo division 6.
