Worked a summer job at Legoland during my Uni days running the rides. Mike Williamson came on the dinghy ride with his kids. Instantly recognised him and blurted out some gibberish about how I was a big fan and wished him good luck for the season. He was polite but clearly a bit embarrassed.
A few weeks later he came back again, same ride. I decided not to say anything this time so instead we shared an awkward moment where we clearly remembered the first encounter, but didn't want to acknowledge it. He must've thought me a right weirdo - luckily we sold him shortly afterwards!

I don’t know what it is, but I feel we’re going to get that new ‘manager’ bounce and some fired up Chairboys tomorrow and we’re going to give PNE a very good game. I think we’ll be scoring plenty of goals tomorrow.

...in 2016 (nine years ago) Matt Bloomfield played 90 minutes for Wycombe Wanderers in a 1-0 League Two defeat to Luton Town at Adams Park.
In 2021 (four years ago) Matt Bloomfield played 62 minutes for Wycombe Wanderers in a 3-0 Championship defeat to Nottingham Forest at Adams Park (replaced by Anis Mehmeti).

Looking at the Inside Training video, Harvie appears to be a full participant in training (as do Jasper, Joe Low, and Kieran Sadlier).

No way I could go through that again! The most extraordinary game I've ever seen, but also complete torture. Everything stacked against us, there seemed no way we could win at times and yet...

Biggest surprise today aside from the other chap suggesting we might not want to go up!
This is our time, we've been top 2 all season. Not going up would give absolutely zero guarantee of going up next year .
