Re: Anders Hagelskjær signs
Excellent stuff !!
Is the gobby ice cream man still moaning ?
Re: Match Day Thread: Huddersfield
Either the manager or the player on set pieces has to put their hand up and say someone else has a go if we consistently fail to get decent balls in from dead-ball situations. Everyone has off days, also it helps keep potential second choice set piece takers get match practice should Leahy not be included in the starting XI.
Re: Sonny Bradley signs
He was solid without being spectacular. I mean that with no disrespect.... its hard coming into a new team and trying to learn on the job the way that team likes to do things.
He seems like a very solid old school type defender.
Imo he seemed a little akward with the passing it around the back before trying to get the ball upfield.
I felt like he didn't really get that. I feel he didn't want to be the one that tried to pass forward often.. buy tbf he did now and then try to pick a pass or play it longer than others were doing and did a fair job of it.
Re: Match Day Thread: Huddersfield
The team you support not being able to get some effective set pieces going has got to be one of the most frustrating/confusing things in football. Honestly, how hard can it be?
Re: Match Day Thread: Huddersfield
Playing with 10 men for much of the second half against Blackpool didn't help
Re: Match Day Thread: Huddersfield
Has anyone mentioned that we’d played three games in seven days and Huddersfield only two?
Re: Rumour Mill
I'm convinced the first 2 are definitely happening. And a little surprised that Taff has not left already as it's a competitive market out there
Re: Match Day Thread: Huddersfield
Numerous things I'lltm try and keep it brief.... We're absolutely awful to watch. We don't create anything and rely on set pieces. Most of the signings have been poor.
We set out not to lose rather than win games, against teams we should be beating or having a go at we look clueless. His substitutions are crap.
We've won 3 games in 19, lost to Southampton at home in the league cup.
It's so negative and he's had an easy ride with the press, he's good at getting people to believe he's done a good job when in fact he hasn't.
Best thing I seen a while ago was Sean Dyche is the kind of person to set fire to your house and then take credit for putting it out.
I don't believe apart from maybe Southampton or Leicester that any other team would employ him in the premier league.
Don't hate the fella but he comes out with some shite and the latest one about if you add some wins to the run we've been on then it doesn't look so bad, I think that convinced the final few who still wanted him that his time here is done.
Re: Match Day Thread: Huddersfield
Yes he has to punch in that instance..... was a piss poor punch though 🙃🤔😒
