Re: FT article on League One transfer fees
I was thinking about this the other day.
The only good suggestion I can think of is that the trust sell the ground, and put the money it into a high yielding trustee savings account, to be used if ever required to save Wycombe Wanderers from bankruptcy, or to found a phoenix club.
Re: Match Day Thread: Preston (FA CUP)
Luckily, it being MK I was able to easily move seats stands.
Re: Loan watch
Peart and Ward gone to Tonbridge Angels too. Dotse gone to Winchester to wait for this all to blow over. No word yet on a new loan for Bartolo.
Edit: didn't notice a new page started
Re: FT article on League One transfer fees
Not a huge fan of us spending big transfer fees, or spending high wages.
The main joy under the Trust was punching above our weight after bargain hunting.
The club is becoming more of a product now, though it still has that element of magic about it.
Re: FT article on League One transfer fees
…AFC Wycombe “Phoenix club” owned by the trust and a community club from the bottom of the pyramid OR Rugby returning here full time? They used to get big crowds regularly.
Re: FT article on League One transfer fees
Which is why it was always vital for Adams Park to remain in Trust. There will always be a home for Wycombe Wanderers whatever happens.
Re: FT article on League One transfer fees
Buy the Kassam and finish it. The seats are already the right colour.
Re: FT article on League One transfer fees
Oxford will need a new ground in 15 months.
They are deep in the mire, could be the new Brighton.

Re: Match Day Thread: Preston (FA CUP)
I was at Franchise once surrounded by a beered up bunch berating our players one of whom had to keep telling the loudest he was getting the names wrong.
Luckily, it being MK I was able to easily move seats.
