Re: Match Day Thread: Portsmouth (FA CUP)
Think Kodua will be at RB a continuation from Tuesday....
Shame Humphreys isnt playing i know he needs a rest but him v potts in the middle of the park would have been a great battle!
Re: Match Day Thread: Portsmouth (FA CUP)
Matt Bloomfield did mention in his post-match interview on Tuesday that he wanted to play Gideon Kodua at right-back. Based on that it's either...
4-3-3
KODUA - SKURA - BRADLEY - HARVIE
BAKINSON - BUTCHER - LEAHY
McCLEARY - LUBALA - HANLAN
or
3-4-3
SKURA - BRADLEY - LEAHY
KODUA - BAKINSON - BUTCHER - HARVIE
McCLEARY - LUBALA - HANLAN
Place your bets ladies and gents!
Re: Match Day Thread: Portsmouth (FA CUP)
Been watching Morley all season and now knows how they want him to play?
Re: Match Day Thread: Portsmouth (FA CUP)
I reckon he will play Harvie at RB ;-
Harvie, Skura, Bradley, Leahy.
Re: Match Day Thread: Poemsmouth
If we play three at the back again,
It's not a question of 'if' but 'when'
We conceed a sloppy goal,
And then there's a huge lull
Our passing sideways doesn't work
The data tells us and that's a perk,
On comes our new Dane,
Who passes forward again and again,
Vokes chips in a header,
And Kone gives it a leather,
2-1 to the Wyc,
@drcongo... to the foreign stream, quick!
Re: Match Day Thread: Portsmouth (FA CUP)
Please be Harvie at right back please be Harvie at right back please be Harvie at right back
Re: Match Day Thread: Portsmouth (FA CUP)
Classy, and I imagine this is near and dear to Blooms' heart too. After he retired he gave an interview saying he is at increased risk of eventual dementia because of all the concussions, and that it is terrifying. I am firmly hoping he avoids it, and my thoughts are with anyone who suffers from it, and their loved ones.
Re: Match Day Thread: Portsmouth (FA CUP)
True - I don't recall ever mentioning Kieran Sadlier before. Anyone would think I hate him!
